• Arsenic - Two vertical circles connected together
  
• Calcination - Vertical line that branches into two directions, like a flower or a fountain
  
• Ceration - Arrow pointing to upper right with a crossing line at the bottom
  
• Congelation - A semicircle sitting atop a circle
  
• Digestion - An inverted "U" with serifs
  
• Distillation - A cursive "m" with a bent arrow intersecting the serif. Not to be confused with Separation
  
• Fermentation - A big squiggle that roughly resembles an "n" with a loop in the top right corner
  
• Fixation - Roman numeral two with serifs
  
• Gold - The circumpunct: A circle with a dot in the center
  
• Iron - A vertical arrow through a circle, resembling a compass
  
• Lead - Appears like a cursive "n" with a circle at the lowest part of the first staff
  
• Mercury - The greek character psi, shaped like a trident
  
• Multiplication - A horizontally mirrored set of three arches
  
• Projection - A curved "H": -)-(-
  
• Separation - A cursive "m" with an ending serif. Not to be confused with Distillation
  
• Silver - Three small circles ringed around a larger central circle
  
• Solution - Sideways 69
  
• Sublimation - Two parallel horizontal lines except the upper line forms a semicircular bubble
  
• Sulphur - A diamond with a dot in the center
  
• Water - A triangle pointing downward
