A common bug in Dreamfall: The longest Journey hinders a cut scene in Chapter 5 from ending: Zoe is stuck in a door after she had a long conversation with Damien. As there is no obvious solution to this problem, and it's always ill-advised to use "common" patches on Steam game versions, I wrote this short notice

You can continue with this cut scene when changing the active process with Alt-Tab (NOT Shift-Tab to bring up Steam console, that didn't help with me) to Windows desktop (or whichever other program will be active at that time). After returning to Dreamfall:TLJ again, Zoe has made the step behind the door and the cut scene continues. You will have to do this two times more, as Damien also will be stuck in the doorway when following Zoe, and after instructing her, when returning to his office.

Hope this saves someone the 20 minutes I needed to google for this solution and the frustrating attempt to contact FunCom...
