Upgrading/Shops
When you get enough money to upgrade a piece of equipment (Sword/Armor/Mask) go ahead and upgrade it, you will unlock access to better equipment as you progress but you cannot buy the new equipment until the old equipment is fully upgraded, so there is no point in saving up your money, just buy the upgrades and have an all together better experience.
Combat
As you start playing the game in the tutorial mode (you don't have a choice) the game starts out with the enemies attacks being slowed down and showing you what to press, but that "perk" will soon fade away leaving you to your own whims, so here's a tip, look at the enemies stances before clicking up or down (alternatively before clicking "W" or "S") , when an enemy shoves his weapon up into the air it means he is a swordsman and is going to do a jump attack, so u will have to slide ( down button OR "S") and when the enemy hunches and points his sword towards the ground then it means he is a spearman and he is going to do a ground attack so you will have to jump ( up button OR "W").

Then you get your "tougher" tier of enemies the Nephilim, they have a line which u have to be on to engage them, then the screen will prompt you your options 1(Mana Restoration) 2(Health Restoration) 3(Rage Restoration) and 4(Execute), the options are rather obvious, except Execute, you kill the enemy and then go into a frenzy mode where you run extremely fast and destroy everything in your way and all the pick ups come flying towards you.

You can only use Execute when your rage is full (the orange circle on the top right of your screen), the prompts aren't always to be trusted so be sure you know what your mana, health and rage levels are before entering the line, sometimes the game will prompt you to press 1 but then your mana is full and pressing 1 won't do anything and you'd get hit and could even die. Also double check to see if you can use the ability around the orange circle (top right of the screen) there is another circle and within it are 3 icons, this is your mana gauge, you can only use the options 1-3 if your mana has reached the icon, the 1st icon is for Option1(Mana Restoration) the second is for Option2(Health Restoration) and the last icon is for Option 3(Rage Restoration).

Feats
There are no tricks to getting the Feats right, it is always a randomized prompt that you will have to follow, unlike the combat prompts that go away later on your Feats prompts will always appear and is never incorrect.

Tip
A useful trick is that u can rapidly jump and slide (Up arrow key / "W" and Down arrow key / "S")
so if you accidentally jump when you should slide you can quickly press the slide button and safely slide.

When playing the game there are a few cheap deaths that you will have to learn to avoid.

1.the wall-swords (or whatever) there are these swords/blades on the side of the walls that will slice when u get near them, now as a beginner you are focused on the path before you and not focusing on the walls at all, so this may cause a few deaths, so you will have to observe the whole screen to avoid these pesky traps. To avoid getting injured by the trap you can either slide or jump (Down arrow key / "S" OR Up arrow key / "W")

2.the hidden floor-spikes, now this is another one that can easily cause your death if not noticed soon enough, it will look like a floor piece with black holes on them, and when you step on them the spikes come out and stab you, so you will have to be on the look out for these pesky traps as well.
You can only avoid these traps by jumping over them(Up arrow key / "W").
