Time to get back to some indie titles! They Bleed Pixels recently received the "Crimson Update" and showed up on my radar. I usually don't play those games as I get raging quite quickly but... well what the heck. The traumas from my NES times with Mario will never be cured anyways...

About the game: 
Featuring a distinct visual style that blends pixel art with paper and ink textures, They Bleed Pixels is a singular mix of intense platforming and fierce beat ‘em up action.  It tells the story of a young girl haunted by a mysterious book and her violent Lovecraftian nightmares.  The game features a surprisingly robust one button combat system and a mid-level save system that requires players to pull off stylish kills in order to earn and place checkpoints.
