Hello! Like the tittle says, now you can start praising the sun again with your friends, playing co-op, and having fun on Dark Souls with Steamworks!


So... what do we need to start playing?

Note: Your friend will have to do ALL the steps too or it won't work.

First of all, we will need the program 'Hamachi'. YOU AND YOUR FRIEND HAVE TO INSTALL HAMACHI OR IT WON't WORK. You can download Log Me In Hamachi here https://secure.logmein.com/hamachi.msi

After that, you will only need to enter Hamachi and press the button to connect:



Create a network, and after that tell your friend to join that Hamachi network.


And if it's all good you will see that your friend is in your network, and a green circle, that means that all is correct

Now that we have our Hamachi installed, our network, and we have our friend inside our connection, we will start the next step.

That was one important step, now comes the other very important step. Log in your steam, and go to Parameters:


Now go to Downloads and where says "Download Region" change it to LAN EVENT (USA). IT'S VERY IMPORTANT, NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE, I'M FROM EUROPE AND I USE IT TOO.



Now we have all the methods, that's it, no more programs, no need to port forward nothing. You will only need to be on hamachi connected, you and your friend with the "Green ball" on hamachi that says that all is correct.
And be sure that the Download region is on LAN EVENT (USA), don't worry if you live on Europe or Asia, use it.

If you cannot see your friend, please, go and visit the post where says the rules of summoning. If you don't want to, I will say the main rules here.

1º FIRST OF ALL. IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHITE SIGNS (From other players) PLEASE, BE HUMAN, OTHERWISE YOU WON'T SEE YOUR FRIEND, NEVER! (And that would be very bad.... D:)
2º The person who uses the White Soapstone and waits to be summoned, doesn't need to be in human form.
3º You need the boss of the area ALIVE, if the boss is dead, and you try to summon your friend to your area where the boss is dead, you won't never see him!
4º Check your Soul Level, because if you are like 18-21 levels more or less than him, or he is than you, you won't see him.
5º One good advice is to be in the covenants of Way of the White. Maybe you won't see your friend if you and your friend are not in that covenants.

Other things:
-In New Londo where you have to drain the water, don't worry because you won't see your friend. Why?. Because you first have to go to the switch that drains the water, when you do that, you will clearly see him and kick that Four Kings' ass!!

-If you want to test this method, just go under the bridge, where you can see the dragon's tail, just under the bridge, there you can test it, you will always see your friend if YOU DO ALL THE STEPS CORRECTLY.

-If you have troubles with that, check that you are in the hamachi network with your friend, green status, download region on LAN EVENT (USA), and check the summon rules and covenants too. If you still cannot see him it's easy, restart the game and you will see him.

- Please deactivate the Windows Firewall

WE will do a video if you want, just so you can check that this is not a troll guide, or that we are liars, or that this doesn't work, because we play all the days without problem.
Just have in mind the rules of summon.
And if you follow all the steps correctly you will be able to see your friends.
