Become a Prophet - A Matchmaking Lobby Console Trick
By Reno
Hey! Have you ever wanted to know what map you're going to play in the upcoming match? Well, here is a little trick!
In this guide I'm going to show how you can see the map you're going to play in match making by using a single console command.

How to do it:
Before I start this guide I wan't to tell you that you have to be a lobby leader to get this working.

First you wan't to enable developer console if you haven't already enabled it. To enable it you go to Options->Game Settings->Line 4 There you see something like this:
Enable Developer Console
<
No
>
Simply click on the arrow and then it changes to "Yes".

Next you wan't to open your console and type "developer 1" without the upper commas. If you haven't set your console command, go to Options->Keyboard and Mouse and scroll all the way to the bottom. There you should see "Toggle Console" and right next to it you can click and choose a button on your keyboard or even a mouse button. Choose something you like and click that button and type "developer 1" without the upper commas and click "enter"

Then you have to make a lobby and change your game mode to competitive if you haven't already done that. After that click the big green button that says "Go". Then you should be searching a competitive match. If you didn't type "developer 1" before make sure to do it now. Because the trick only works if you do it before the "Accept" button comes.

When you find a match, look into your console and there you can see a bunch of stuff you've likely never seen before in CS:GO. Scroll through the console and stop where you see this:

You see all kinds of information that you shouldn't be seeing normally. One of those informations is what map you're going to play when you accept the match. In the picture above you can see where it's located in the match information. After that you can trick your friends if you wan't by *cough* guessing *cough* the map.

Remember that this only works if you're a lobby leader. If you wanna turn "developer 1" off, simply type in the console: "developer 0" without the upper commas.
