Combat Time
Combat time determines the amount of supplies used in combat - sort of their 'munitions efficiency'. The extent to which a high combat time benefits you depends on the situation - e.g, for paratroopers acting behind enemy lines, special forces and such like units are the best because they have a very high combat time. If you are fighting a long ground war that has time for the 'supply creep' to reach you, combat time is less important.
They also act* faster.

Definitely agree that it is highly dependent on the situation. But, in most cases, a unit with a "High" combat time (or even a higher; i.e., medium > Low) is better than one with a lower combat time, even if it's stats are inferior (to an extent). Absolutely agree though, that fighting in the jungles of Brazil or Africa, or the Tundras of Russia, a lower combat time unit is more efficient. A good player will be sure to have lots of supply aircraft or vehicles to mitigate that issue, so "High" combat time should still prove useful.
