Introduction
Welcome. If you're using this guide, you likely couldn't find the option to "save" your game. This guide will provide you instruction on saving your progress.

Typically, most games are saved by:
  • pressing ESC and creating/updating your current saved game with your progress;
  • pressing F5, like in many old Sierra games or in Elder Scolls games;
  • automatically with preset check points
:
Unfortunately, Hot Tin Roof doesn't use an intuitive saving system, and it's why there is a guide.
Saving Your Game
When you initially leave the office with Jones and Franky, as you approach the door, Franky stops you and informs you he need to stop in the little kitty room. You head left into a rest room where Franky then uses the litterbox/toilet. At this point the game will save. It appears to be a "check point". However, you're saving your game by using the toilet.

To save your game at any point, you need to locate a rest room. These are located throughout the game. Once locating it, walk up to the toilet and press "E" to use it. Your progress will be saved. The next time you load, it will load in the restroom. Don't forget to use the sink afterward to freshen up your boutonniere (Franky mentions this the first time you use a rest room at the start of the game).
