Tutorial
Tutorial Completed
Achievement for completing the Tutorial

After game startup choose Single Player -> Tutorial

Just complete the 3 parts of the tutorial (movement, upgrades, economy & stats)
Playtime
Played for 1h
Achievement for playing the game 1h or more
Played for 24h
Achievement for playing the game 24h or more

These achievements are a little bit confusing. It's not meant the Steam playtime of DoN.
It's meant the in-game session joined playtime. To unlock the 24h uncomplicated
just setup a singleplayer game. Set the time for a turn up to 24h and join the game.
Now you can minimize the window and idleling in the background in the meanwhile it counts.

You can check your progress in Singleplayer main menu (click to enlarge)

Multiplayer
Multiplayer Play
Playing the first multiplayer game
Multiplayer Victory
First multiplayer game won

Choose one of your friends and setup a new multiplayer game in main menu.

Warning: Setting up a multiplayer game will cost you 10 Coins.
You start with 100 coins and you can gain them back slowly by time. Each day one.
So be prepared for doing this and assure that you have setup all important parameters.

- Passworded sessions are possible.
- Play a simple game on tutorial map with 2 nations (A) and low turn limit.
- Your friend should select Rome and you Carthago (1:6 size relation)
- if the last turn is done you have won. After that you can switch nations with your friend
that he wins, too
Game wins (Singleplayer)
First Game Won
Achievement for first game won
10 Games Won
Achievement for 10 games won

Somehow the Multiplayer wins don't count for this one. You have to make them in Singleplayer.
Do the same strategy as in Multiplayer and choose an easy AI difficulty.
"Little Tough Guy"
Little Tough Guy
Declare war to a much larger nation

Just choose again Singleplayer and a simple 2 nations (A) game.
You should select Rome as nation (much smaller as Carthago).
Easiest difficulty. Then search with a fisherboat the map until you find a Carthago
occupied town. Click on this town and on the symbol for declaring war.
Then it should popup.
Explore the map
Terretorial Ruler
Hold 80% of all occupiable territory combined

The description of this achievement is very precisely. Just occupy almost all enemy towns.
Let also your troops explore every corner of the map on the landside. If your territory reaches above 80% you are done.

Explorer
Explore 90% or more on the map

This means even more than the Terretorial Ruler. Use your ships and travel through
all seas. Unfog land- and waterside completely.

Pontifex
Build a bridge

You have to focus on rivers on the map. At some places there are little stars.
You can click the star and it turns out as a build ground for something (a bridge)
Now you just need enough stones, food and material and you can build a bridge here.
"Sexy Time"
Sexy Time
Hold a fertility festival in one of your settlements

Very easy one. Just choose one of your towns.

Then you see two tabs one for "Govern (build)" and one for "Manage"
Go to "Manage" and then enact the fertility festival.

Opinions (AI's least popular, AI lover)
AI's least popular
Being very much hated by the AI players
AI lover
Being very liked by the AI players

These two achievements are totally different but they are both linked to the global opinions of you.
To check your opinion status open on Toolbar "Messages"

A window opens. Select the least tab on it "Opinions"

Now you you can select each nation and see below which opinion they have of you.
According to the dev you have to get a average opinion of -70% or +70%
(depends on which achievement you want to do).

"AI's least popular" is easy to make. Just declare war in a two nations game and keep on
killing enemy units.Which each turn the opinion of you sink lower. I got it right in that moment
I declared war with an opinion of -100% immediately p.e.

AI lover instead is very hard to handle. Here some tips:
- Start with 4 or more nations
- Try to send peace messages and alliance requests to all of them.
- Accept all trade offers during peacetime
- Never ever ally with other nations against another in war

You just need luck
1. That you have in the end at least 2 nations left (supremacy requires more than one AI opponent, because if you have just one AI left it will try to fight you to win the game in the end)
2. Both are allied with you, but they can be themselves in war.
3. Both cannot destroy themselves
4. You are the ruler of territory and materials but stay passive.
5. You holdout in perfect balance for minimum 50 turns.
Kills
10 Kills
Eliminate 10 enemy units
100 Kills
Eliminate 100 enemy units
1000 Kills
Eliminate 1000 enemy units

Whenever you kill enemy units like soldiers, elephants, knights, boats and occupy towns
it counts for this achievement. To get the 1k kills it will take some time.
But just imagine: setting the AI difficulty higher let the AI opponent sending faster and more
troops into your direction. So you can fight hordes of enemy units ...

You can check your unit kill progress in Singleplayer main menu (click to enlarge)

"Inhuman Victory"
Inhuman Victory
Win against the inhuman AI

Setup again a Singleplayer game. Select the AI difficulty to inhuman (last one).
Now you just have to win the game somehow ...
"This is Sparta"
This is Sparta!
Win a game playing as Sparta

Setup a Singleplayer game. But choose the second map "2. The Samnite War"
and all nations (15) on easy difficulty. Sparta is the last one.

After Sparta select and game join you start with just a boat and 2 swordmen.
You also have just 300 (lol) of each material. Try to occupy fast a town and
make your ppl happy. Because your happiness sinks rapidly without settlement ...
Then you can start to conquer the whole map and beat all 14 other nations. What a fun!

End notes
If you liked my guide, found it helpful please rateup and/or comment if you have any question. I'll appreciate it.
Thanks to "noblemaster" (dev) and his patience. Hopefully DoN gets more attention through this guide. Would be great if some ppl buy the map pack ($15) to have even more fun and also
support the dev a bit financially ...

Thank you for this great guide!

For AI lover:
I started a game with Carthage on Casual and stayed passive (no new troops, no troop movement). As mentioned above I sent out Peace and Aliance requests in nearly every round. On top of that I made ridiculous trade offers to every nation depending on their Import/Export—something like one wood for 30 if the nation imports wood. Every accepted offer gave +5% to the nation's opinion. I got the achievement with an average opinion of +77% after turn 32.

For the "Inhuman Victory" you can create a game with the Inhuman AI, set the turns limit at 2 and take the celts in the samnite map. Pass the turns and that's it !
