The first step in creating a theme for Nimble Writer is to have an idea. ...Haha, just kidding, though having an idea is helpful!

Before you start, make sure you fufill the requirements of what you'll need.

What will you need?

★ Nimble Writer installed (You can find it under Library - Software )

★ Photo editing program like Photoshop, Gimp, Paint, etc

★ Open Nimble Writer

★ Click the gear icon

★ DON'T CLICK ANYTHING!

Just leave the window open. Now go open a photo editor, I will be using Photoshop but you can use any program.

★ Sizing can be difficult to figure out for Nimble Writer, it took me over an hour to figure out a size that worked for me.

I use the size 960 x 1040 but you may have to mess with the sizing!

★ I just threw something together. XD

★ Save the file in PNG format.

Now go back to Nimble Writer!

★ Once you're back in Nimble Writer, click the gear icon and open up the form again.

Go to background then click "Browse". Select the image you made.

★ Then click "Apply".

If you like the way the image looks, great! If you don't, go back and edit the image again, then follow the same steps.

You CAN edit the colors of the text, background, etc. Just click the gear and choose colors for the different things marked "Background", "Font color", etc.

★ Once you're happy with your background, click the star icon.

Then click Steam Workshop Uploader.

★ Fill out the information then click "Save".

You will NEED to check the box to "Prompt to save as zip file". Then click save.

★ Now a box will pop up with things that you have to fill out.

In the box "Package file", you need to select the zip file that was created if you saved right in the last steps. The zip file will be titled whatever you saved your background as.

The Package image will be the image that appears in the steam workshop! After you've finished filling everything out, click "Upload". Tada!

Congratulations your theme is all ready to be viewed by the world. If you run into any problems or you'd like to show me your theme, comment below or send me a friend invite! (๑′ᴗ‵๑)

Could you share your screen resolution at the time of making this guide? Ought to be useful in figuring out proportions for every screen, at the very least for the same aspect ratio.

Not bad how I figured but is size preference? Or is just automatic each time?
