Z-FaithFul UI (Ironman Compatible)

Mô tả

Z-FaithFul UI is an alternate UI color mod aimed at those who like a blue UI but aren't necessarily fond of (or possibly tired of) the stock blue that came with the game. It changes nothing more than the color of UI with the addition of the buttons for diplomacy, ledger, rivals, nation designer, etc, all being given a face lift.

Inspired by Dasungesagte's UI mods


Updated to 1.19.x

My UI mods were made, from the ground up, on the vanilla UI first; Support/compatibility for other UI mods came after I had all the vanilla UI elements modded and made into PSD's.

If I've missed any part of the UI please let me know, I did go through the files rather extensively but you never know.

Due to load order issues for a specfic UI mod (mapmodebuttons) I put the "Z" in the name to avoid any conflicts with that mod or any other mod that would cause problems in the future.

Hello all, I've just put my mods back to visible status even though I have no immediate plans to update them. As for why I have no plans to, I do not have the will power to do it and a big part of that is Paradox's continuous updates. The other being the tedious and time consuming nature of updating each patch and Paradox's retreading of old paths by updating the same UI elements nearly every update; some small, some big and some invisible to the end user but all of it annoyingly stupid for me. I'm not saying I will never update the mods but as Paradox continues to update the game and changing the UI, I feel less compelled to want to update. I do apologize to those who want an update but at this current time I cannot give you a certainty of an update in the near future. I decided to make the mods visible again so those who play on 1.19 and lower the ability to interchange between those updates with these mods.

To be frank I haven't even started updating the mod, it takes a lot of mental prep for this and initally 1.20 came at really good time but that went right out the window not 3 days later. Next time I looked at EU4 I saw 1.21 was coming and my mood changed pretty dramatically on if I even wanted to bother because 1.12 - 1.16 came one right after the other changing the same files pretty much every patch as well as adding new ones. I've said once and I will say it again keeping these mods updated is tedious, time consuming and not even remotely interesting. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that once 1.23 comes out (which is the one I'm eye for an update as of this moment) they chill out with these major patches because it's honestly not worth the time and effort to update the mod if I have to update it again in two weeks.

And I do apologize for my paragraph responses, I like to explain things in more detail than I really probably should.

It's a busy work week for me so you'll have to bear with me here as it will take some time for me to get the update done. Ideally I'd like to get it updated by Thursday but it's very possible it might not get done till April 16th.

None of my compatibility patches are exclusive to a specific mod, I just made an error in the links, which I just fixed.

Better UI doesn't have a fabricate claims background image at all anymore so yes this is my bad. open up betterui2.0.zip and delete diplomacy_fabricate_claims_bg.dds. I'll upload fixed versions soon without the unnecessary file.

Also the compatibility patch for Better UI doesn't support the fabricate claim window, the buttons are sized as for the vanilla game while the window is sized for Better UI.
