Assault

These weapons are best for frontal 'assault'. Charging in, chasing down.

Rapid rate of fire. Very good for close quarters.

Not very accurate at long range.

Support

Heavy weapons intended to supress and destract so that Assault can move in for the kill.

Usually more damage per shot than Assult, but with more bloom.

Not really intended for 'Run N Gun'.

Sniper

Very accurate at long range.

Should try to stay hidden.

Not so good for up close, but that's what secondaries are for.

Demolishon

These are intended to detroy vehicles like tanks and APCs.

Not intended for antipersonel, but can be effective on tight groups.

Pretty much pointless on maps with no vehicles.

Maps and Roles

Autobahn:
All roles work well there.

Kiev:
Assault and Support only. (extremely limited for Sniper, and no vehicles)

Frankfurt:
Assult, Support, and Sniper. (no Vehicles, so no Demo needed)

Red Dawn:
Same as Franfurt.

Sand Storm:
All roles work well here.

Disclaimer

Individual experiences and opinions may vary. I made this because I keep seeing people do odd things like run up and point blank with Sniper, or bring Demo to Kiev.

You don't have to unlock vehicles. Just go to one of the maps that allow them, and pick one from the little green computer screen thing near the starting spawn point.

but i mean how do i unlock them. i dont have any unlocked

They are only available on two maps (right now); Autobahn, and Sand Storm. The attack heli is only on SS.

There are console things that you must interact with to spawn a vehicle, and there are a limited number for each team allowed on the field so you might have to wait for one to die.

The carts are pretty weak, fast(hard to hit), and aren't used for very long, so I don't think it's worth it just for them.

Wait Red dawn does have vechicles it has the golf carts that are near spawn so shouldin't demo kind of be useful on red dawn?

i think they should give support guns (some) to assult, and make support some kind of a medic/engineer. Or a guy who can build miniguns for free as a skill, or something. suggestions?
