So...Re4 took a new direction. Fuck trying to be different, spoon feed me the same shit over and over again. Re4 was beast. It wasn't really tied to the previous entries tightly, but if you look at it that way, neither was Half life 2 to Half life. Honestly, i couldn't really play much of the originals, but judging by the awkward camera angles and the controls, i think re4 was a step in the right direction.

Res Evil 1-3, In Cold Blood, Alone In The Dark IV, even Dino Crisis, those were the good old days.

Resident Evil has been a fraud since they changed the style of the game after Nemesis, the first 3 ftw, fuck 4 and onwards.

Honestly, RE6 (Leon's campaign) was absolutely amazing, pure nostalgia. Racoon City revisited. ZOMBIES (haven't seen them since RE3). In general, RE6 was all-in-one pack on each one of its campaigns:

Leon-> RE1-2-3 nostalgia
Chris-> RE5 part 2
Sherry-> Nemesis revisited
Ada -> new stuff, basically RE version of metal gear solid... if you get discovered a siren rings and u need to run

I've enjoyed it quite well and playability are actually better than RE5 hands down (FFS, Chris and Sheva are as mobile as wood logs!). And the partner AI is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better (got so tired of hearing Chris yelling 'SHEVAAAAAAAAAAA' -> game over). Just my opinion, but RE6>RE5. And RE3>ALL.

If only RE4 had a properly functioning version on steam :'(

absolute SHITE of a game compared to RE5. I couldn't play it more than 1 chapter. that's how disastrous the fucking game was. horrendous controls + ass backwards inventory. idk wtf they were smoking to go from RE5 to that.
