There is a range of about 8-10 maps i think, (I am pretty new at the game myself) every map has its own way of playing it, while every map of course includes the original "Rocket Jumping" and air control to get around, its a hard thing to master.

The maps are of a wide array of colors ranging from the most darkest green to the most brightest of purples, which makes everything alot more wider, atleast it feels like it as of the gameplay in the way of how everything is changed for every map, but you can change the main color of any map using the options tab.

Aswell as that the fact that this game is early access, its confirmed that the developer's want more maps included aswell as some multiplayer features tweaked and so on.

The maps are very fun to play on, aswell as huge incase of that you are a mouse there is hundreds of opportunities for the maps in this case.

Conclusion : The maps are great and varied, the color customization is a nice feature thats awesome for loads of things, especially with the case that you can change the color of players.

The gameplay is really smooth and requires basicly a potato to run, which, is allowing a greater audience of players to play it. The great thing about this is that its required to be as smooth as this for the mechanics in this game, which is, being accurate, and you cant be accurate with lags or freezes.

Its super simple gameplay, everything you need to do is right click (rocket jump for mobility) and you need to aim and shoot your railgun . The railgun doesnt have any kind off recoil or spray, its as simple as mastering to hit things with it.

This concept of a game sounds weird just when you listen to it, and kindoff easy. Well that's until you actually try it. It's hard to begin with and its hard to master, the pro's of the old title Quake that mastered the railgun there are pretty much great at this game aswell, but of course, its not the same game but loads of things were taken from it. Such as the railgun and the huge maps, its just not as tight angles and tiny things like that.

Conclusion : I love this game, and so does alot of other people, its a great game and the gameplay is of course one of the best things about it, because who needs graphics right?

The customization is as follows :

There is 4 accessory slots, that includes (what i think)
Head Slot
Whatever Slot
Whatever Slot
Whatever Slot


In these slots you can place items, you get these items sometimes after matches, the items also include different qualities, there are 4 qualities atm, which is Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary.

These items give's no advantages in battle or outside of it, they are just simply customizations.

Ratz Instagib 2.0 is available as a tab on the steam market as of now aswell, so now you can sell your stuff if you get duplicates or anything you dont like, which is great!

Conclusion : You can be a pirate, i love this game.

There is 6 Gamemodes if you include Duel, which is a 1v1 ranked mode which you go against people with similar RATING, you gain rating from winning or being high on the leaderboards in games.

The gamemodes include :

Deathmatch (Free For All / Everyone against everyone.)
Team Deathmatch (Teams killing eachother.) Balancing is needed for this part!


Freezetag :
2 teams, the weapons freeze enemies instead of instantly killing them, friends unfreeze you by walking close to you, there is also lots of added obstacles on the map that makes the gamemode a little bit of a tough one, but is fully operational and good to go!


Capture the Flag :
Capture the enemies flag and return it to your flag.
Everything in this part is of course subject to get changed as there is loads of things coming to this part of the gamemodes. Balancing is needed for this part!


Survival :
You are a team of Ratz that go against dangerous machines that shoot sphere like things. If you shoot these things in their core a multitude of times they finally explode in a weird kind off animation, everything in this part is of course subject to get changed as there is loads of things coming to this part of the gamemodes. Very Work In Progress

Conclusion : There are lots of things to be done with the gamemodes but they are great anyways atm. The thing right now is balancing of certain ones and finishing Survival, after that is done, there will be more balance.

Ratings, they are what a players general skill level is.

Ratings range from 0-2000, you can gain alot from just one match, but not enough to boost it up to the hundreds if you are new, of course you need to get lots of "frags"( = kills), to actually get high up on the leaderboards in a game. Unless you do that you will go down ratings, you can go down loads of ratings but you can never go down under 0

Loads of people are already great at the game which makes it quite hard for new people to adapt, but bots will help with that problem, bots have different difficulty settings and you can add / kick loads of them, so the customization is in your hand at this one ! :)

You also get achievements for better ratings.
The achievements are as follows :

Casual Rating (250+)
Adept Rating (500+)
Expert Rating (750+)
Master Rating (1000+)

There is also one gamemode that i excluded from the others in the gamemode section and that was DUEL, because of course it was nothing like the other ones, maybe except the deathmatches.

Duel is kindoff a 1vs1 deatmatch, you search for people with similar skill (Rating), after you have found them you battle them, and the winner will get rating while the loser well... loses some rating.

Conclusion : And that is the basics of rating and possibly all you need to know about it! Rating is a great system of someone's skill and i wish they had something like a rated team deathmatch with balancing of teams, but i think we need more players first.

Its a great game, and as follows are great Gameplay (Mechanics), Customization and of course maps! Servers are not a problem, and custom games are really easy to setup and can also hold up to 100 players! Which is great for LAN parties :sfsmile:
