Guide to Achievements (with tips)
By kaoswar
I made this guide to help people with Achievements in a more easy way, cos some of the guides I found in the community are kinda confusing and not very clear in what you should have do. I do hope you enjoy this guide, and most of all, that it can help you achieve 100% in this game.

Achievements: Level Related
Achievements related to the characters level. They are pretty much straight and self-explanatory, except one of them, 'cos it is STILL bugged.

Level 5
This one is easy and it comes naturally. You just have to keep playing and level your chars.
Level 15
Same as before. Just keep playing and leveling your chars…
Level 30 (x3)
In mid to end game, at least 3 of your chars should be around level 30 (or sooner, if you’re doing all quests related to the places you visited). Can’t really miss this one.
Level 30 Elite Group
Easy one too. All your chars should be level 30+ by the time you reach the end of the game (or sooner).
Level 30
I left this one for last ‘cos this achievement is the bugged one, and some people are still getting the same problem. There is also a guide in the Steam community saying how to get this one to work. Your chars will probably reach level 30 and you MAY (or NOT) get this achievement. If you didn’t get, just keep leveling your chars and will get this. I got this one when one of my chars leveled to 36 (sure I got all other achievements, but not this one).
Achievements: Crafting
Achievements related to weapon and armor upgrading, as well as where to find grindstones and leveling the blacksmith.
The easiest way to level the blacksmith is giving him a lot of grindstones, which you can buy from merchants in towns (if you are really rich, ‘cos you need to give him at least 999 to level him to Lv.11 and have a success rate of 85% on crafting) or mining them in caves for free. Below is an image showing the grindstones in the caves.

Description
Blacksmith Level Up
This one is pretty easy if you mined some grindstones in the caves. If you get some grindstones, just give them to the blacksmith (the first one you find is in Sunset Castle ). You can mine grindstone revisiting Goblin’s Hideout or Den of Devil caves. Another way to level the blacksmith is to waste money and try to upgrade your weapons without leveling the blacksmith first. Even if he fails on upgrading, he will get a small amount of experience and will eventually level if you keep trying.
Hit That Vein
If you had checked the image above this section of the guide, you are now familiarized with the ascpect of the the stones in the caves. You just need to click on them and a dice will roll. I am not sure if you get a grindstone in 100% of the rolls, but I can confirm that the least dice roll I got was 5 and I STILL got the grindstone from that roll. Weird...
Just a remind: grindstones in the caves are random, as well the amount you may find. So revisit the caves for more grindstones.
Grindstone Master
Just keep farming (or mining) grindstones in the caves and you should get this achievement.
Epic Armor
This one requires a blacksmith to upgrade your armor to the max level possible, and it means you need to level the blacksmith as higher as possible too. The minimum level required for a blacksmith to upgrade your armor to the max is Lv7.
Epic Weapon
Same as above, but the minimum level required for a blacksmith to upgrade your weapon to the max is Lv8, instead.
Achievements: Classes
These ones are class related and you need to do some quests to unlock them. Some locations you visit have secondary quests, and they are kinda easy, since a NPC using a class you want to unlock will guide you thru’ the quests.

Achievement Name

Description
Class Barbarian
You get this class by starting a quest in Journey Village, where a NPC will ask you to make a delivery in Goblin’s Hideout.
Class Hunter
At the beginning of the game, in Default Village , you can start a quest were a Hunter NPC will ask you do gather some apples and carrots. Just do as he asks you and you should unlock the class.
Class Bard
At Sunset Castle, a bard NPC will ask you to get rid of some bandits. Just keep doing the quest and you’ll get the class.
Class Knight
At Sunset Castle (again), there is a quest related to kill some skeletons. Just start the quest, do as they ask you, and the class is yours.
Class Necromancer
At Default Village, there’s a quest related to scort someone. Just follow the instructions and survive the attacks and the you will get the class.
Class Shaman
When you reach Yoga Village, you first need to complete a quest that asks you to go to Plains Temple. Once you reach Plains Temple, complete all quests related to the place to unlock the Shaman class.
The Open Minded
This one requires you to first unlock all classes you may get in the game (except the DLC class Witch). Once you get all the classes, go to a Tavern and start creating chars with the classes.
Achievements: Miscelaneous
Below are the other achievements.

Achievement Name

Description
Elite Kill
Can’t really miss this one. Even if you don’t want to kill a Elite mob in the beginning, the game will force you fight them later on.
Tough Battle
Same as above. Remember that some quests give you the opportunity to choose the enemies you may want to fight, as well the number of them. Even if you skip fighting more than 7 enemies early, later on you will be facing mobs with 7 monsters.
Dragon Slayer
As soon as you get access to Chromatic Nest (usually by the end of the game or in game+), try to go there and a forced battle with a Dragon will occur. If you manage to beat the dragon, the achievement will pop-up.
Lucky
This one is fairly easy to get, since almost every action (in the map and some locations) you do in the game requires you to roll the dice, and getting 20 in a roll is somewhat very common. Can’t really miss this one.
Unlucky
Same as above. Although getting 1 in a dice roll seems very rare, believe it or not, it isn’t. You’ll be getting a lot of 1, mostly when escorting someone or moving to a distant location.
What Is Your Gold Level
Gold farming related achievement. There is a guide in the Steam community should how to grind gold in this game. But, to help you out, I suggest you to do all quests available, kill large mobs (mostly in end game). To haste things, you may consider buying these items for Tabl and Room decoration: Golden Table (+10% gold), Royal Wall (+10% gold), Red Carpet (+4% gold),m Soda Bottle (Drink), as well chars accessories that increase money after battle. It’s not that difficult to get past 9k gold in this game.
The Big Spender
Since you need to spend money to buy stuffs for your chars, you will get this one very fast,
Already Dead
This one can be missed. As soon as you start the game, after adding the chars, you need to escape from prison, and some guards will block your way out. To get the achievement, you MUST die to the guards.
Rise From Your Grave
This one is tricky. You need to die AND you must not have enough money to resurrect any char. I did this one after a few moments of gameplay, where my chars were level 4. I spent the money with items, but I left enough money (8g) to go to Middle Field (6g to travel there). At Middle Field, I summoned 7 enemies, then I died. Since I didn’t have enough money to resurrect everyone on my team, the achievement popped-up after a game-over screen.
What a Waste
Easy one. With a char with full HP, use a potion or any other healing item.
The Explorer
Since the game makes you go to everyplace in the map, this one is not difficult to get. Some places will be only available as you progress in the game.
Say Hi to the Game Devs
After a few fights in the game, if you’re following the main quest (the quests marked with star) you will have to fight the Devs. Of the game. They are pretty in the first encounter and easier in the second one. Impossible to miss this achievement.
Thanks For Choosing Us.
After the 2nd fight against the Devs, they will be available as playable characters. Despite the achievement description, you DON’T need to finish the game with them on you team. You can create them in a tavern and delete them, but you MUST create them. BTW, they passive is awesome, so I’d consider using them anyway.
Added: the Devs characters are : Betu, Gui, Hugo, Ronaldo and Saulo (thx Scarface for the info).
Weird Combination
This one is related with the character passive and class matches. The easiest example is the Grandma passive extra 2 to thread, and her natural role would be a tanker. If you give her a class like Mage or Cleric, the achievement will pop-up. Jock + Cleric or Mage also works.
Indecisive Person
This one requires you create ALL chars, including the game’s Dev. Go to a tavern once you unlock the devs and start creating chars and you will get this one.
You Must Love That Spell
Although it may be very simple as the description says, I think this achievement is bugged too. With a cleric class, I had one of his skills lv15 and the achievement didn’t pop-up. When I leveled the skill again (to 16) I managed to get the achievement. Weird…
Achievements: Miscelaneouss (cont.)

Description
Here Comes a New Challenger
Easy one. Just buy a new Master.
Group of Masters
Another easy one. Buy all Masters.
Goodies Expert
This one requires you to have some gold. You need to buy the furniture, doors, tables and so on.
Where the Journey Begins
You will get this one after you beat the game.
Is This My Kitchen
After you beat the game, start the same game again (you will notice a + sign on the game name), head to Chromatic Nest, do the Legend Quest there (it’s the only quest available there) . After the waves of dragons, you will end up in the kitchen, getting the achievement. But be very well prepared, cos you will also fight the hardest enemy of the game.
Ain't Nobody Got Time For That
Speed run achievement. This one is not difficult if you have in mind a good team and you know the game fairly well. If you do only the main quest (the quests marked with a star on its name or map, you should be fine. For a good team, try using AOE DPS like Hunter, Mage, Shaman or Witch, a tank and a healer. Since you will be fighting large crowds later on, being able to kill fast and multiple enemies is a must.
Dungeon Cleared
As you progress the game, you will end up going into a dungeon (Frozen Dungeon). Another dungeon is the Castle Sewers.
Master of Dungeons
You need to farm dungeons if you wanna get this achievement (and the next achievement too). BTW, if happen to find the key to the boss room, you DON’T need to click on every “?” marked on the map. Just head to the boss room and finish the dungeon. Below is a trick on how to get this a bit faster and less tedious.
Dungeon Crawler Kind of Person
This one is boring and very very repetitive. TIP: If you wanna avoid battles inside the dungeons (those battles will hinder your progress) and get this achievement a bit faster, bring the character Flowers (+1 dice), buy 12~14 Lucky Amulets and equip them in everyone. Also make sure to have bought the object Loaded Dice (+1 dice). You can farm the dungeon Castle Sewer (it’s short and easy). If you did It all correct, your dices will always be 15+, avoiding useless battles and you will only have to get rid of the boss.
Already Dead
This one is a bit tricky and EASILY missable. At any new game start, in your very first batlle, where you fight the guards, you need to die to them. To hasten, add the maximun number of enemies, and use squishy classes like mage and cleric and keep defending until you die.
Remember that it needs to be in your very first battle in a new game.

If "You Must Love That Spell" didn't pop up as it reached 15, chances are you had the miniatures item active which gives +1 to all skills - you would technically only have 14 levels (or rather, skill points) in the skill at that point...

Once you're in a game, click the "SHOP" button at the top-left corner of the screen (when OUT OF COMBAT). Not a shop in the town, it's the "real world" shop where you buy stuff to put on your gaming table. The first shop there should be for SNACKS. Click the right arrow to see DRINKS. Those are all consumable items that only last for a few minutes, so avoid them unless you're looking for the achievement to buy ALL ITEMS. Keep clicking the yellow arrows to change to the other shop pages and you'll find objects (all can be active simultaneously), walls (only one at a time), doors (one at a time), rugs (one at a time), masters (one at a time), and two pages of furniture (one item on the left side of the room, one on the right side), and gaming tables (only one active at a time). When you're done shopping here, click the "CLOSE" button to return to the game.

Having technical issues with Indecisive, Open Minded, and Explorer counters not advancing on my current playthrus.

I reinstalled this title recently on a Mac with the intention of 100%ing it. Other achievements that were previously broken seem to be working now—like the dungeon clearing achievements. But not getting my counters to advance at all on the three listed above.

Do I need to play on a PC to get those to work? (Was reading that some were perms broken on Linux installs?)

why are there two "already dead" achievements in this guide?

hungrughost01, thanks for checking the guide. I don't know what happened, but it seems that the HTML code got messed up. I just fixed it.
Now you can see the achievement Visit your Kitchen again

Probably a bit late, but the reason that you need to leve a skill to 16 for the "You Must Love That Spell" achievement is due to the fact that you get +1 to all skills from the Miniatures item from the Objects tab in the Shop.
Therefore if it shows you that the spell is 15, it really only is 14 with a +1 increase. ( Just like the Fireball Ring which increases the mages fireball skill by one )

Great guide, helped me a lot during my achievement hunting. I'm down to my last two. Currently trying the speed run. Thanks a lot for your hard work ^_^
