This Guide provides instructions on how to change the Music to and from General MIDI to Sound Blaster in the MS-DOS Version of Raptor: Call of The Shadows.

1. Sound Setup Program
1. Enter the following in your RAP Config File for DosBox:
[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.

@echo off
Mount C ".."
C:
cls
SETUP.exe

1-1. Save SETUP Configuration

2. Launch Raptor's Sound Setup via Steam
3. Go to "Select Music Card"
4. Select Sound Blaster & set the PORT Address to 220
4-1. To Switch back to General MIDI, Select General MIDI & set the PORT Address to 330.
5. Save Settings, Exit both the Raptor Sound Setup & DosBox by entering EXIT

6. Change the following in your RAP Config File for DosBox:
[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.

@echo off
Mount C ".."
C:
cls
RAP.exe
exit

6-1. Save RAP Configuration
7. Launch the game and Have Fun!

Worked perfectly, I just did

SETUP.exe
RAP.exe
exit

so I can basically run setup everytime and select music in case I want to go back to MIDI vs SB. It only takes a split second to hit save so it doesn't bother me to quickly hit the setup before playing. This is what I used to do as a kid anyways to ensure my games were setup correctly before some shit go down and it crash my 486 :P

for some reason your guide doesn't show up under english guides even while it's labelled as english
