Prop Hunt (Fixed)

ive found out how to get around it, when it says change gamemodes, it freezes on the vote screen, so i cant do anything but sit there and look at it. if you change maps, it resets the server so you dont have to recreate it

Check the last update. 5th may 2015. I haven't checked or updated this for 6 years. I'm amazed if it even still works at all after all those years of updates gmod has received. But can take a look when i get time for it and see if i can't fix whatevers broken if there is any. I'm not quite sure what you are referring to by the game soft locks? Could you elaborate? Also you have to set the gamemode in the command startup for the dedicated server. You cannot switch to for example sandbox from the prop hunt vote menu. Its just for choosing maps, not game modes.

Hmmm... I've checked several times and can't find any other prop hunt addons, and I'm playing on a prop hunt map, so it must be some other issue on my end.

Its either that or people are selecting it as a game mode locally and tries starting it with a non prop hunt map which ofcourse wont work as you cant turn into the props then. Tested it and it still works. Generated 0 crashes nor any errors.

just tested it and i cant seem to replicate the issues you're having. Running completely fine and playable for me. Running it from my dedicated server for prop hunt. Have a feeling you must have installed alot of other prop hunt addons before you installed mine. And they have overlapped and just created a nightmare of errors. For this to work you have to have a clean install. You cant have any other prop hunt mod out there installed at the same time as this one. They have the same name in gamemodes and will overlap eachother. I've let the server stay open so you can join it and test for yourself. Called Rognus.com Prop Hunt. Join it, if you're still having issues on it then you got a local problem. Clean out your addons then and try again. Make sure to have HL2 and CS:S installed also.

Sorry guys, haven't been playing Gmod for quite a while and been too bogged down with things irl. Downloading gmod now and will check it myself. Come quite a few updates since i posted this so will probably need some sorting of the code. Will look into it now and sort it all out so its all good for another few years.
