So as you all know we got bow in Payday 2 in the most recent DLC. And I must say that on its own it is really hard to use and it is probably best if you use any other primary weapon that this.

But explosive arrows are a whole different story. If you go with Low Blow build and low detection it makes bow really good for killing shields and dozers. Most of the time you will get critical hit for dozer and he will go down with one shot.

This is a build I made that has pistol, shotgun and SMG skills.

We will be running dodge so rogue is the perk deck of choice.

In fugitive we need dodge skills and most important Low Blow skill. If you will choose secondary with higher concealment go with aced Low Blow. I also chose First Aid Kits.

In ghost tree we need aced Sprinter, Shinobi and SMG specialist basic.

In enforcer aced Transporter and shotgun skills.

And in mastermind Inspire, and all pistol skills.

Primary is the bow with explosive arrows.

I went with Peacemaker without any mods for my secondary but you can choose anything you are most comfortable with. Just be careful that it has concealment of 25 and above.

For melee choose something with really high concealment. I went with Shank.

This combination will get you to detection of 3. If you have any secondary with at least 25 concealment you should get under 5 detection risk which is enough for maximum effect of basic Low Blow.

• Use bow only for shields and dozers so you won't run out of arrows.
  
• Always fully extend the bow for maximum damage.
  

Pros:

• good for killing shields
  
• can stun dozer
  
• you can blow up cloakers
  
• most of the time you can kill dozer with one arrow

Cons:

• no ammo pickup
  
• tazers can be a pain in the ass
  
• slow firing (you have to extend it fully for max damage)
  
• hard to aim at long distance (snipers)
