Fan Conversion Rate / Income Conversion Rate
Hello Chroma Squad fans :)

Until we can improve our interface to actually explain how these work, I thought it would be a good idea to have this guide here.

Here's how Fan Conversion and Income Conversion work:

At the end of each episode, all of your Audience is converted into money and fans. Fan and Income Conversion Rates represent the percentage of Audience that gets converted, respectively, into Fans and Income.

Example: If you recorded an episode with 1500 audience, and your Fan Conversion Rate is 3 and your Income Conversion Rate is 10, here's what you get:

Fans -> 45 (3% of 1500)
Income -> 150 (10% of 1500)

If your Fan Conversion Rate was increased to 4 and your Income Conversion Rate increased to 25, here`s what you`d get:

Fans -> 60 (4% of 1500)
Income -> 375 (25% of 1500)

Hope this is clear enough, please leave a comment if you have any questions about this system :)

Just started playing and was looking for how this mechanic worked. Far simpler than I thought it would be. Thanks for explaining.

I started 2 new games:
one with Alert Johansen (+1 fan conversion)
and one without Alert Johansen (no bonus)

Both show a fan coversion rate of 3% when I hover over the smile face icon at the studio screen.
(unless the stats are incorrectly shown)

The base fan conversion rate is 3%. I tested this without Alert Johansen in my team just to be sure. The base Income Conversion rate is 25%. Do keep in mind that at the end screen that you have to pay for weekly expenses before you leave the red--into the green. Audience obtained past the maximum still count for when they're converting it to fans and money. For a moment you can actually see the total, right before the bar starts to drain, and it does count the overflow audience.

So where do you see these stats?

So, does that mean getting points over the max audience is just pointless, or does it still affect how fans react?

This is very important, it really explains why some of the marketing deals that offer NO +$ are more expensive. Glad to know how it works.

So, are these the only mechanics that control how much money and and how many fans you get from a given episode? If so, what are the base rates on these, before any bonuses from marketing or anything else (or is there some way to see this in-game)?
