Melee Weapons!
The Crowbar!

The Crowbow is the default Melee weapon for all of the classes except the Spy, Engineer, and Medic.

The Crowbar is a total piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because it's weak and only used when you're completely out of ammo and as your last means of dealing damage...

Interestingly enough, the Crowbar is so weak that it's mainly used a Humiliation weapon...

Detailed info being that it does 30 damage per hit and its fire rate is 0.5 seconds.

Wot a piece o' shet...

The MedKit!

Probably one of the Best melee weapons in FF, the medkit can heal teammates from 1 hp to 100% INSTANTLY, and give your enemies AIDS with HIV that'll weaken but NOT kill them but you can use that advantage to actually kill them.

Not just that but MOUSE2 makes it launch up to 5 healthpacks out of it!

In terms of damage, it does ONLY 9 DAMAGE, but it does make up for it by helping your teammates and really screwing up enemies with an infectious disease that can spread among enemy teammates!

Firerate's just about the same as Crowbar...

The Spanner/Wrench!

For Engineers only.
In all honestly, the Spanner is basically a reskin of the Crowbar but it has an added ability of fixing and upgrading buildings and fixing teammates armor, all using metal which comes in the form of Cells.

Since it's basically the Crowbar with added crap, the Wrench's still a piece o' shet albeit more useful for Engineers only...

The Knife!

The Knife is the best melee weapon in terms of damage. It does 50 FREAKIN' DAMAGE per hit, the strongest of all Melee weaps...

Same fire rate as Crowbar as well so fawk, Spy's the melee master in this case!

Not to mention that it ONE-SHOTS you on backstabs! So remember this info when you're going mano-y-mano vs. a Spy!

TL;DR
Crowbar and friends suck arse, only medkit and knife are worth using in melee...
Bullet Weapons
Single-Barrel Shotgun or just Single Shotty!

This shotgun truly reeks of ♥♥♥♥♥...

it shoots only 6 PELLETS DOING 4 DAMAGE PER PELLET... If that's not weak for a ranged weapon, idk what is...

The cool part about this gun is that it's a good long range weap and it shoots fast as fawk, same fire rate at the Crowbar and friends. The weapon reloads fast as hell too, but it's too weak to really make much of a difference in battle unless ur enemy is weakened and running or the enemy is a weaker class...

The Double-Barreled Shotgun or Super Shotty!

Basically the big bro of the Single Shotty, it delivers twice the fire power of the Single Shotty with an extra cost of slower fire rate but reload rate is pretty much the same...

It seems slower but it reloads 2 shells at a time so it's faster.

Super Shotty is best used at close range but works well at medium and a little good at long range.

Technical details is that it shoots 14 pellets, each doing 4 damage like the single Shotty, which puts total damage at 56 which is decent.

The Sniper Rifle

the Sniper rifle is a fawkin' beast! It can do from 45 to 273 MAX DAMAGE, holy ♥♥♥♥♥...

But the damage depends on where you get hit. Headshots deal 2x damage and below Torso does half the damage. Any leg shot turns your victim into a CRIPPLE for a temporary amount of time.

Any hit on a target will also make them be seen through walls but this is also temporary, so aim well.

The Auto-Rifle

Basically the only assault rifle in this game, the Auto-Rifle does 7 damage per shot with 60 shots, that means you can do up to 420 damage with its one clip if you don't get any ammo for it.

If you're good at Counter-Strike, use this weapon!

The Assault Cannon (AssCan) / Minigun!

The Assault Cannon (I say Minigun mostly) is a big azz gun! It shoots 2 bullets per shot with each bullet doing 12 damage; so you can really ♥♥♥♥ up someone with this weapon.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ part is that, when you shoot with it, it slows you down and you have to wind it up...

On top of all that, the AssCan also has a huge cone of fire, so don't try sniping with this thing...

Projectile Weapons
The Nailgun!

The gun itself looks like the Down syndrome'd love child of a Sten MK II and the MP-40...

Basically, it shoots nails which travel in a straight line. Each nail does 9 dmg so it's a little weak but it has fast fire rate. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ side to it is that the nails don't fly very fast so you gotta lead your targets VERY skillfully...

The only thing this weapon is good at is Sentry killing. Cuz Sentries just stay in one spot, Nailguns are OP against Sentries!

all in all, for PvP combat, the Nailgun is a piece o' ♥♥♥♥♥...

The Super Nailgun!

Name says it all, it's basically a stronger version of the Nailgun, doing 12 damage per nail instead of 9. You might not think it's much, only 3+ more damage but it does make a difference.

Again, like the Nailgun, it's still somewhat bad but only somewhat cuz the damage really does make up for it.

The Nails still fly the same speed so you still gotta lead skillfully but with the added annoyance of having to actually reload it... Even though the Nailgun is a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥, at least you didn't have to reload it.

All in all, it's better against players than the regular Nailgun but I advise using it only against sentries and let your super shotty and medkit take care of enemies.

The Railgun

The Railgun may look like some weird-assd Pistol out of a steampunk game but I guarantee that it's not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥...

When you first shoot the railgun, it does weak damage. Does about 12-15 damage.

The best part about the Railgun is that you can CHARGE it so that the projectile can do even more damage as well as have an explosive radius!

Only problem is, you can't charge it for too long or you'll short it out and you gotta charge all over again. Cool part about that problem is that it gives you Metal/Cells when it does short out so it's useful for converting your Nail ammo into Metal/Cell ammo!

Long story short; if you're good at ambushing or sneaking, USE THIS PISTOL DAMNNIT...

The Tranquilizer!

The Tranquilizer is easy, it shoots a dart laced with Valium...

The Tranquilizer does about 18 damage per hit with a fire rate of 1.5 seconds.

Because of the shot delay and low damage, it's highly obvious that this weapon isn't mean to kill but slow down your enemy.

When you hit an enemy with the dart, they move slower and their field of vision becomes blurred a bit; allowing you to have the advantage in a fight.

Summary -> it sucks as a weapon, use it for temporary James Bond simulator.

The Rocket Propelled Grenade / Rocket Launcher! (RPG/RL)

The RL is a pretty straight forward Weap, it launches rockets which fly straight like the nails...

Quite possibly the best weapon in this game, the rockets each do a max of 102 damage which is NOT affected by distance or position of the player who launched it.

The Rocket Launcher has a fire rate of 0.7 seconds. The rockets themselves are also a little slower than TF2 rockets by about 100 units...

TL;DR - strong a.s.s. weapon, gives you the major advantage in many combat situations.

The Grenade Launcher! (GL)

The Grenade Launcher or GL is basically the same concept as the Rocket Launcher but with Grenades, which have a gravitational arc, and not Rockets...

The grenade projectile, interestingly enough, does 6+ more damage than the rocket projectile.

Unlike TF2's Grenade Launcher, the grenade projectile ALWAYS explode when they touch an enemy, even if the grenade already touched the floor; but unlike TF2's GL, the weapon itself doesn't have a long range...

The GL has a weak launching arc as the grenades can only go maximum medium range before they explode. Because of this, the GL is best used as a short-range weapon...

Now that's all neato but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ part is that short range is your weakness as you can easily ♥♥♥♥ yourself up by accident...

The Pipebomb Launcher! (PL)

Same ♥♥♥♥♥ as the Grenade Launcher. Difference being that the grenadeprojectiles are colored yellow and they don't explode unless you press whatever button is set as ATTACK2/MOUSE2.

The PL suffers the same weak launching arc as the Grenade Launcher but, because the grenades don't explode unless you make them, you'll have a longer range of dealing explosive damage compared to the Grenade Launcher.

Not to mention that you can have multiple grenades out and explode many at one time, increasing your damage and kills for those unlucky!

The Flamethrower!

The Flamethrower does just what it says, throws flames!

To be specific, the weapon has a fire rate of 0.2 seconds with each "spray" doing 16 damage. That's 80 damage in 1 second. Not to mention the extra burn damage that affects the victim!

The flamethrower also has a neat little feature where, if you shoot down whilst in the air, it can lift you up or soften your fall! Similar to a jetpack basically.

The Incendiary Cannon! (IC)

The IC is basically the badass kid of Mama Flamethrower and Daddy Rocket Launcher!

It shoots an arcing rocket that deals 55 damage and applies burn damage to anything its explosive radius touches.

I definitely advise using this if you really need to set someone on fire OR if someone is already on fire but they're far away from your flamethrower's range!

Summary -> It'll never be the man its Dad was but still a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ like Mama...
Misc. Weapons
The Detpack!

The Detpack is basically as named, a detonation pack.

Technicals are that it does 1270 damage to ANYONE within the blast radius! Holy ♥♥♥♥, think you game devs went a little too far there? The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Blast radius is about 700 units or 43.75 ft. Who the ♥♥♥♥ is going to dodge that?

It takes 3 seconds to set it up but the player can set it to explode in 5, 10, 20 or 50 seconds. You can also make a customized fuse time with the maximum allowed setting of 60 seconds or minimum 1 second.

Detpacks are automatically defused when touched by a Scout, even if it's by the Scout's big toe...

If a Detpack is hit with an EMP Grenade, the timer is automatically set to 5 seconds. If the Detpack is already at or under 5 seconds, then the Detpack isn't affected.

The most OP ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ special weapon ever seen, you can explode it in 5 seconds and it'll 1-shot every damn creature in 44 ft? ♥♥♥♥♥...

The Dispenser!

The dispenser isn't exactly used as a weapon because its purpose isn't to be a weapon, BUT it can be used as a weapon.

When a dispenser is destroyed, it explodes and deals damage around it. The damage of the explosion varies on the amount of ammo it holds.

Seriously, this hunk of ♥♥♥♥♥ becomes a nuke as soon as you max out its holding power; luckily, it doesn't the same OP range as the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DetPack...

The Sentry Gun!

The Sentry gun is an automated, statically placed robotic gun that can upgraded to have more firepower.

Level 1 Sentries are equipped with a semiautomatic gun
Level 2 Sentries have a single minigun
Level 3 Sentries have 2 dual-miniguns with a Rocket Launcher mount.

In all honesty, the sentry's a piece o' ♥♥♥♥♥...

EVERY class has a way to kill it and it can be killed easily unless you constantly babysit it...

Scouts can Nailgun it despite that Scouts die easily from Sentries.
Soldiers get use either grenades or RL.
Pyros are probably the weakest of all against Sentries as only their grenades are effective against them.
Demoman has the OP MIRV Grenade to use instead of wasting his ammo.
Heavy is also weak against Sentries UNLESS the player can get into close range with the minigun.
Other Engineers can only use grenades or a charged Railgun shot.
Medics can Super Nail it obviously.
Sniper can either shoot it or Nailgun it.
Spies can sabotage or simply grenade it while using a disguise...

What a hunk of ♥♥♥♥♥. If you play Engineer just for the Sentry Gun, I say go Soldier bro...
Throwable Grenades
The Frag Grenade!

Nothing much special about it; it does 145 damage in a wide explosion with damage fall off of course. The Frag grenade is the most common grenade.

Lob 'em in tight spaces for killz;

The Concussion Grenade!

Concussion grenade doesn't do ♥♥♥♥♥ except for being Canned knockback that opens in 4 seconds.

Only thing it's useful for is getting from point A to point B really quickly, escaping enemies, or trolling snipers...

The EMP Grenade!

Doesn't do ♥♥♥♥♥ except blow up every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing from backpacks, midair projectiles, carried ammo, to Detpacks and even goes through the walls!

This grenade is literally the only reason to even play Engineer, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ swear...

The Slowfield Grenade!

All it does is make a retarrded super-saiyan force field that slows down anything that passes through it. Might as well make an airport security checkpoint.

Moving on...

The MIRV Grenade!

Probably the most Overpowered and Overkill Grenade in this damn game, the MIRV grenade basically explodes with the same damage and radius as the Frag grenade but it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ out 4 other grenades in a spread out radius that act the same as the Frag grenade as well.

so you gotta deal with the 1st frag-like grenade damage then FOUR others. That's a total of 725 damage. What, was the DetPack not good enough?

The Laser Grenade!

Probably the coolest grenade of all, it shoots 3 lasers horizontally and spins them in a radius; basically blocking anyone from wanting to pass through when thrown in a tight corridor.

After it's done, it simply disappears, not explosion. If it wasn't for the laser effect, I'd tell you it's a hunk of crapola...

The Napalm Grenade!

The winner of the most Annoying grenade to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dodge; this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing jiizzs napalm everywhere, hurting anything that touches it AND setting it on fire...

To make it even worse, the Napalm fires each shoot smoke, covering your view of what's across from you.

shotty is actually the best ranged weapon after the sniper rifle.

@The G0at The pelletgun/single shotgun is actually good as a ranged weapon in FF, haven't you ever tried it?
Amuro 11 Sep, 2016 @ 4:59pm
While a shotgun is NOT a ranged weapon and the Minigun is, well, you know (not meant for accuracy, with 6000 RPM it doesn't need it) it was a good article, and a good source of info for people who are new to the game. But twas' truth words, this page.
