Running this on a Win 8.1 Pro, GTX 970, I7 4790K, 16GB RAM.

If you are having the issue where "main.exe" stays open, using CPU time, but there's nothing open, try this out.

Step 1: Go to the installation folder, find "libpandadx9.dll". Rename it to "libpandadx9.dllbak"
Step 2: Open "config.exe", go to the "Fenstermodus" tab, and check the box for "Fenstermodus" to set windowed mode.
Step 3: Go to the "Hauptmenu" tab and click "Spiel starten" to start the game.

The cutscenes won't play properly, to view them, open up the individual *.bik files in \assets\movies\bink\ using MPC-HC and watch them 1 by 1.

this is the only way i can start the game, but it's of course really annoying. exactly the same problem which i had with A Vampyre Story.
Can you tell me which is the right order of the movie files, so i can watch them without spoilering myself the whole story?

No luck with my PC as well. I use GTX 670 video card and Win 7 64bit This and A Vampire Story game are only ones, that I cant play with Steam.
