Natures Valley [by Undogmatic]

This is a realistic map inspired by the interesting geography of Natures Valley located in South Africa.
There's plenty of virgin valleys to be explored, filled with dense forests, plenty of animals, slithering rivers and of course those beautiful beaches along the coast and hidden on the base of the Soutrivier river. This is a truly beautiful place.

You can try to respect the land and keep it minimal (perhaps with a few scattered villages connected by gravel roads here and there?), or you can try to turn it into a metropolitan area and neglect the beautiful nature (Don't! Think of the poor trees and animals!).
There is only one main highway to reflect the actual roads in Natures Valley, it's a calm rural area after all! There is also a train track (after unlocking another tile) and an airplane connection to expand the possibilities.

You must, flight to Cape Town and then follow the N2 Highway east for about five miles, cannot miss it

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I've never been there, unfortunately. I found it a few years ago while I was searching for interesting places on google maps and never forgot it. One thing lead to another and so I decided to implement it in Cities: Skylines. I'll have to go there in real life whenever possible. :)

Wow Nature's Valley, my favourite place in the world. I canoe there every summer and can attest to this map's authenticity

Yeah it's mostly intended for a rural village, like in real life, it's not the most suitable terrain for a really big metropolis, hehe.
