What is the GIGN mod ?
Get in the action with the french special unit GIGN!

GIGN mod is a texture pack which gives you the opportunity to lead a GIGN squad in the game Breach and Clear, with of course new skins for your characters. Also, some objects of the maps will change with this mod.

There will be a second guide about the GIGN's story, details about skins, camos etc...


I'm really sorry about my possible english mistakes, I'm not a native. So don't hesitate to tell me if something is wrong in this guide so I could fix it. Thank you very much!
Download the file
GIGN mod is a .tpf file. Download it by clicking
{LINK REMOVED}.

When your download is finished, go to the next step of this guide.

Install the mod
To install and play the mod you'll need a program called Texmod
There is already a guide on the hub about how to install a .tpf file. I don't think this is necessary to create another one here.

So follow these (simple) steps :

  • Read and follow the part two "Getting Started" from Pte.Mery.G's guide, then come back here.

  • You read it? Great.
    Now take your GIGN MOD.tpf file and drop it into your Breach and Clear folder
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BreachAndClear


Congratulations, you are done with this part. Go to the next step.

Launch the mod
Okay, now that Texmod is installed on your computer and that you dropped
the GIGN MOD.tpf file in the Breach and Clear folder we are going to see how to launch the mod.

Follow these steps :

  • Launch the game as you usually do (with Steam interface or the B&C shortcut).Texmod will start.




  • Click on the folder icon, and select :
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BreachAndClear\bncsteam.exe




  • You should have this :
    If not, you have done something wrong. Restart the guide from the third part or ask me in the comments.




  • Now click on the little folder icon and choose the mod you want to execute, here we want to execute the GIGN MOD.tpf. Click on it.
    If the mod doesn't appear, you have done something wrong. Restart the guide from the third part or ask me in the comments.




  • Your game is ready !
[/b] Click on "Run" to launch it.
Please read the second guide about this mod to get some explanations about the new skins, camos etc.

Bug
When it goes wrong...

If a texture appears on your screen while you are playing with the mod activated, don't panic, don't close the game and press the Windows button on your keyboard. Then, return to the game. You'll recover a normal view. If not, try again.
