How to
Its easy go to your steam folder and look for a folder named SteamApps then go to the common folder and look for a folder named Imperial Glory and open it, inside you will find a archive named Config.sb and click it then it will ask what program sould open it, select the notepad and click ok, now go to the SX and the SY and put the resolution of your liking, after that save the file and run the game!

EDIT: The Config.sb file does not work for resolution changes although it does for fullscreen changes. For resolution changes you have to use regedit (with all the cautions that go with any registry changes). It will be under HKEY_Current_user\Software\Pyro studios\Imperial Glory\ then change the applicable keys. You may have to allow permissions under edit/permissions.

Thanks to mekaerwin for his awesome contribution!

how about the alt-tab crash?

running it in non-4:3 aspect ratios doesn't work, it crops off the bottom of the game window, and only works in windowed mode, and will reset every time the game is closed

None of the suggestions worked for me... The game keeps launching at its default resolution despite having changed the ResX and ResY values through both the config file and regedit, as well as limited permissions to both the exe file (in file explorer) and the VIDEO file (in regedit).

Am I doing something wrong?

Only thing that worked for me was to "brute force" a widescreen fix through the control panel at the game's maximum 1280x1024 resolution.

Steps for this are (for NVidia users): NVidia Control Panel >> Adjust desktop size and position >> Select Fullscreen for scaling mode >> Tick the "Override scaling mode set by games etc.

Of course this is not ideal, but it is something I guess...

When you configure the resolution in the regedit refresh under view, run the game in no window mode to see if the resolution changed , if so exit and run again to see if the res change, Imperial.EXE will try to revert the resolution back to original resolution so under properties disable admin rights to application (Imperial.EXE) and now the resolution in the regedit file should stay the same. NOTE: If you want a full screen Resolution the regeit and the Config.sb have to be the same resolution.

In short disable Admin rights to the game and make sure both regedit and Config.sb and are same resolutions.- From xPYRO

I found that if you set FULLSCREEN to False in Config.sb and then set the resolution in the registry it works, but not in fullscreen.

@Saitek. have you tried runing it in windowed mode to see if you getthe mouse back?
