"Just noticed that this has finally been added to Netflix. If you haven't seen the 1997 animation or the manga, and you are even remotely a fan of anime, then you need to watch this. This is essentially a remake of the 1997 done in 2012, and 2 more followed it to encompass the entire 25 episodes of this story arc. This is good stuff.

On a video game-related note, I just realized that Americans were denied (over a decade ago) a Playstation version of this. And discovering this recently has very nearly put me to tears. Here is the trailer of the game we didn't get.
