What is Slender Fortress?
Slender Fortress is a gamemode in Team Fortress 2 based off the popular Slender Man.
What you do in the game is you collect 8 or more pages/flasks/bags/etc. and then find a way to escape the map. But there is something trying to stop you from collecting those items, and as we can all guess, it's Slender Man or many, many other bosses. You need to collect all those items without getting caught and then escape the map.
Bosses.
There is many bosses on Slender Fortress. If I had to list them all out, this would be a pretty long, long, long chapter, so I'm going to list all the types of bosses.

The Averages
These bosses are pretty basic. They roam around and spawn in random areas of the map. They don't walk but a small amount do, yet looking at them will affect you but a small amount won't, this includes the likes of SCP-173. Basically, they show no warning when they're near, yet some give warnings when they're nearby Luigi Doll for example, jumpscares your screen when he is nearby.
What do I do if they spot me?
Run away from them, and make sure they're a good distance away from you before you can hide behind something. Some of them have a light surrounding them, so when you are hiding behind a box, yet you know it's dangerous to look out, be on lookout for a light.
Some people hide in their hiding spot for ages, but the truth is, pretty much every boss has a short time before they teleport somewhere else. Wait for around 10 seconds, then peep out from your hiding spot.
If you are in a room, and you come out from hiding spot (Possibly behind a box), the bosses usually spawn outside your room, so crouch and peep out of your room just ot be sure.
Do NOT use voice commands at ALL. I see many people doing this mistake when they're cornered, as their AI responds to voice commands.
Yet some don't have a light, but play a special sound when they are right beside you. Use your sences!

The Hit and Runs
These bosses are a pain in the ASS. What these guys do is that they spawn either; In front of you or; Behind you.
And the bigggie is that some of them are ridiculously fast Hit and Run Bosses examples: Freddy Kruegur, Frostbite, Tryhardphobia, Creepy Woody, Batman.. These are very advanced bosses, and they really put on a challenge for beginners.
What do I do if they spot me?
Run. turn as many corners as you can, most of these devious guys have a really long range of sight. Once the chase music is over depends on which boss it is, most of them has chase music, HIDE, you think you have outran him, but he is actually currently searching for you. Hide behind a very secure hiding spot, and wait for 10 seconds, then he will spawnto another person.
DO NOT USE VOICE COMMANDS.

The Chasers
These bosses are the most common bosses you will find. What they do is they spawn randomly, and if they spot you, they run after you Chaser Bosses examples: Kate the Chaser, Eddie Gluskin (The Groom), Frosted Zombies, Chris Walker, Frank Manera, Rick Trager. They're basic bosses, but they do require skill to avoid them. Some of them are ridiculously fast, like as if some punched some steriods into them, but most are pretty balanced.
*The Chasers have some distinct sound when searching, and may have chase music. Shrek, for example. He will teleport somewhere, and say "Where is everybody?". He repeats this for 10 seconds, and if he spots somebody, he will start playing the song "All Star" by Smash Mouth. These sounds get louder when you get closer to him, but I think that should be a rule of thumb.*
What do I do if they spot me?
Do the same routine for the Hit and run bosses, except they're not as hard.

The Ambushers
These bosses are rather sneeky, and can catch you by surprise Ambush Bosses examples: Slender Man, BEN Drowned, Luigi Doll. They usually don't move, but even if they do move, they go at Conga speed.
What do I do if they spot me?
Do NOT look at them, or touch them

But seroiusly, if you do, they will kill you. Just hide, and if you ran into them, look the other direction, and run the other direction.

Working as a team.
Working as a team can be very tricky, as bosses usually target groups of people.
What I would reccomend you to do is stay alone, but for begginers, stay with groups of 2, 3 at the most.
How do I communicate with them?
Most recommended:Get a mic, and use voice chat, the boss' AI doesn't respond to voice communication, but they do respond to voice commands.
Recommended: If you don't have a mic, use the "Go Left", "Go Right", "Move Up!", "Yes" and "No" voice commands. Do NOT use "Help!" and "MEDIC!" voice commands, they all attract the boss at the most, even though using voice commands is very tacky in SF2 situations. Don't use voice commands when hiding from a boss, as their AI responds to ANY voice command. Type in chat to tell your team to be quiet.
Not recommended: I would recommend not to type to communicate in-game, as you are left standing, and a boss can kill you while you're typing.
Working alone.
Working alone is the type of game-style I'de recommend, but only for players with experience.
Basically, collect as many pages as you can, crouch-peep every corner you turn, every room you enter. You're much safer, but if you encounter a boss, you're in much more trouble, and you'de wish to yourself that you stuck with a group.
Always listen: Most bosses make special noises if they are nearby you Example: Kate the Chaser usually makes a raspy laugh when she's near you..
Always look: Some bosses have a light surrounding them, so always be on lookout for a light. Also, crouch-peep a corner, if you see a hale, stay crouching and move back to cover. If you can see them, they can see you.
DO NOT USE VOICE COMMANDS: You are alone, voice commands are made for teamwork.
Tell people when a boss is chasing you: Use a mic Or type down, but voice communication is better for the sake of your survival to tell other players when the selected boss is chasing you, and whereabouts they're chasing you. Learn the map, and tell them when they're chasing you. This gives an oppourtunity for other players away from you.
Pass on the boss chasing you to someone else: If you see someone on their own and a boss is chasing you, run to them, use "Help!", or "MEDIC!" voice commands until you've ran right beside them, then run away from the person, and hide, hopefully the boss will pick out the other person. If you run into a group, the better the possibility of passing the boss onto someone else. I know, it sounds like a troll, but it's for the sake of your survival.
Stun the boss!: Some bosses are stunnable, which makes him to stop attacking him. Melee him once or twice, and he should stop attacking you for a short second. Reported by Arctical❅ʸᵃʸʸʸ. Thanks!

Special Rounds.
Special rounds usually occur at around the last round of a match before changing maps. But there's only a small amount of rounds in totalSource: Glubbable's Servers.

Double Trouble
Double Trouble rounds means that one additional boss is added onto the current boss on the map Which can be any boss, or a certain boss that is set to default on the map.
Usually, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when this happens, especially on the sh*itty FNAF maps. And I don't care what FNAF fans say, I like the game, but the TF2 maps are horrible

No Flashlight
No flashlight means that you cannot use your flashlight during that round. Some maps are fine without a flashlight, but some are almost impossible without a flashlight.

Double Players
Double Players means that the amount of players is doubled, and that gives you more of an opportunities to sucessfully complete the map, but heres the catch; The difficulty is automatically set to suicidal. So, best of luck with double players!

Suicidal Mode
Suicidal Mode is when the difficulty is set up to suicidal. Yeap, you're probably boned when this happens.
The End.
It's a short guide, but hopefully it would have helped you. Please quote some more tips down below, I might add them, or if I missed ny essential tips. Thanks a bunch for reading, and good luck!

Thanks. I'm yet to see a gaming mouse made in the UK xD I've been reordering a gigabyte one for years that i really like the shape of(from UK supplier). It has the scroll left and right functions that could be interfering.

I always assumed it was mouses cos it's not actually a mouse but turns out either is correct lol

@123
Reset bindings all to default. Should work as the middle mouse button (Scroll wheel) is the default binding.
If that doesn't work then it could be your mouse, depending on what mouse you're using.
Over-complicating things here but it happens with gaming mouses/mice (?) you order from abroad.

everytime i encounter a boss it keeps telling me to press sprint button. i looked in keybinds and it's not there. in chat someone said middle mouse but that did nothing so i just keep dying.

Sniper should be in the "Stalker Bosses" type. Since he can wait longer before blinking.

Scout isnt the fastest. He can run longest tho. Also, not only demo is faster when scared. All classes do.

@IM KID
I'm surprised that people still look at this guide! But hey, let me explain.
Suicidal is the third option (usually) for difficulties. It goes as: Normal, Expert then Suicidal. Suicidal is the hardest out of these 3 options, making it more of a challenge for the player.

what does suicidal mode means and why is it so bad and is it the hardest difficult of slender fortress?
