This is a very easy and quick solution to stop Star Wars Battlefront II from crashing to desktop with no warning. This tutorial will not require you to install/enable stereo mix, as this solution oddly did not work for me. Without futher a do let's get straight into the tutorial.

Don't worry, it's nothing much. All you will need is a microphone jack on your computer/laptop, which most modern computers do. You will also need a spare set of headphones or earphones. But, if you are like me and have two microphone jacks, (one on the front, one on the back), you will need to have another earphone set or headphone set for this to work.

Now, finally you will want to know how to prevent the crash from happening, as it is stopping you from playing the game. All you will need to do is simply plug the earphones / headphones into the audio jack. I know it sounds strange but it works.

You have now successfully fixed the Star Wars Battlefront II crash to desktop bug. Just follow these steps every time you play the game and it will all work fine. If you are having any more trouble, ask me, and I will be sure to see if I can help you out.
