TF2 Deathmatch Mercenary GMOD

So who is the deathmatch mercenary?

The deathmatch mercenary is part of a Facepunch project called "Team Fortress 2 Classic"
This mercenary is a new character in our new upcoming community gamemodes, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and so on.

Also note that TF2C is a standalone project which is based on the first release of the game, the retail orangebox client from the DVD. (This means the TF2C project is running on the 2013 Multiplayer SDK which makes our team able to to ship in custom content and brand new features.)

(Technically the merc is the only available class in the upcoming community gamemods, so he's not meant to be the 10th class.)


- High detailed textures.
- HWM and Lowpoly version.
- Body Skeleton based on Soldier's animations.
- Bodygroups. ( Currently not including new bodyparts, you can only remove certain areas )
- Gibs and viewmodels included!

- Garry's Mod users: use the Hat Painter & Crit Glow Tools addon, and paint the 8th skingroup. ( By default It's white )
- Source Filmmaker users: use Doc's Color Script. It's a really simple addon, make sure to sellect the "base tint" while painting the 8th skingroup.

- The bodygroups are removing certain body areas, why? - The bodygroups are made for the TF2C Mod, they are going to work like the DOTA2 Item system which means a new cosmetic item can remove a bodypart, avoiding the clipping and gives more variety for custom content. ( This feature is likely to be scrapped or revisited later. )
- There are so many skingroups like yellow and green teams, why? - They are part of the TF2C Mod, because new teams are added.
- The physics are not flexible, why? - There's 2 version of each lowpoly and HWM version, one of them is normal and the second one is a more flexible version. (Updated in 2015.03.31)

Hey everyone, Maxxy here and first I'd like to tell that I'm really happy to release this new model, especially because I used a new method for sculpting. (3D-Coat) I have a lots of new projects in mind for this year, especially some comic characters for both platform GMOD and SFM. So stay tuned for more models and I can't wait to continue working on my next project.
