Stereoscopic 3D settings guide
By Catswarm
This game is breathtaking in stereoscopic 3D--on a Trine-like level. This guide shares the settings I used with the Helix Mod to obtain that level of quality. This guide is written for NVIDIA 3DVision users.

Helix Mods are incredible in how they can polish up some games, this one is no different. Get the mod for Mirror of Fate HD from http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2014/03/castlevania-lords-of-shadow-mirror-of.html and follow the instructions on the page to extract its contents to your game directory.
Configuration and Settings
Once the game is running, there are several ways to configure the 3D compatibilty. Here are the settings I've used to create pop-out visuals with incredible depth and clarity.

Using Numpad 2 and Numpad 4, you can adjust compatibilty/quality settings of the 3D mod.
- Cycle the settings and set "VS" to 21.
- Cycle settings for "PS" to 13.
- Hide the mod text with "ScrollLock"

Remaining in-game, set the NVidia driver 3D depth to around 50%, then use your NVIDIA Control Panel Stereoscopic 3D advanced keybindings to increase convergence until the close-up camera views are put right in your face. This is where you get the "pop-out" effect. When something is close--for example during cutscenes--it should be at the forefront of your screen. Adjust this setting as high as you can to separate the character/environments from their surroundings. During normal gameplay the effect is impressive enough--but during QTEs, cutscenes and camera changes, it reaches another level entirely. Bosses walk from the background right up to scream in your face and reach for you, or throw things that feel like they crash into your monitor's glass.

Continue to tweak your Depth and Convergence settings with the NVIDIA keybindings during gameplay to find your personal sweet spot. (Personally, I like when the fireballs shoot into my eyes and barrels explode onto my desk.)

Enjoy! I almost didn't believe how great this game turned out to look! Finding how amazing it plays in stereoscopic 3D made me not even worry about dying to bosses dozens and dozens of times. ;)

Does this mod still work? I've been trying to get it to work and I think It's almost there but I can't seem to find any of these stereosopic 3d settings

This game was made for Nintendo 3DS originally, so the 3D was incorporated purposefully. And yes, it looked really well there, so I can't imagine how great it looks in hi-res 3D.
