Introduction
I'm assuming that most of you already know a little something about this game, so I won't go into much detail. Caster is an action packed, third person shooter where you, the Caster, go on missions and fight a bug like enemy, the Flanx. There are 2 chapters in the game, The Middon Region and The Lydonia Chronicles. With Middon having 15 missions and Lydonia having 7 missions. With missions spanning from collect all of the power orbs to kill all of the Flanx in the map, you are sure to have an enjoyable time playing Caster. This screenshot is the Middion Regions completed Mission Map.
Getting Started
Now obviously, when you are first getting started in Caster you must create a character. There are 2 different character, male and female, without any differences between them other than gender and skin colour.

Once you have decided what gender you are in real life, or if you want to be the opposite in Caster, no offense intended to anyone I could have offended, you must choose your name. Your name will show up in the file saves and when non player characters talk to you in game. For the purpose of this guide I decided to go with Derpmaster

Now that you have created your character you must choose how hard you want your game to be. Casual, Normal, or Extreme difficulty. Obviously, Casual is the easiest and good for new people. Normal is, welp, Normal. Extreme is the hardest and most difficult and suggested to only the best of people.

Now that you can actually be physically in the world of Caster, you are given with your first mission. The mission is a tutorial that explains everything in the next section but you actually do it. Take note that the green grid is not what the actual world looks like.
The Basics
This section will be short and quick, since you will learn most of this in the tutorial of the game.
As is in many games, to move use W,A,S,D. To jump press space bar, you can double jump by double tapping space bar but if you hold on the second space bar press you will go higher up in the air. Left mouse click will fire your spells and holding down right will select your spells. Alternatively, you can press 1-6 to quick select your spell.

Each time you complete a mission you will earn credits. You use these credits to upgrade each skill.
  • The shield skill will boost your defensive powers against enemies, allowing you to take more damage without dying.
  • The Pickup Distance skill will allow you to pick up credits and power orbs from a farther distance than usual.
  • The Dash skill will boost your running speed and stamina, eventually you can run over water.
  • The Super Jump skill will boost your jump height, by a lot. A lot.
  • Individual Cast skills will boost the effectiveness of each individual Cast skill.
Community Mods
Community Mods are, well, mods creates by the community. To download community mods go to http://www.elecorn.com/caster3d/ , go to the mods tab on the top right, go to Download Mod Pack 1. Once the mods are downloaded open up the folders and drag the folder to ( this is for windows computers ) Computer > [] > Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > common > Caster > data
and put it in the data folder. The next time you load up caster and hit Community Mods, the mods will be in place.

Extra
I will leave you to everything else. Please enjoy the world of Caster! Please, if you found anything wrong with this guide post it down in the comments below! My entire goal in life is to make people enjoy their time and helping people helps achieve that goal, and you helping me, helps them. Thank you for reading and happy casting!

Pretty sure you use the green strike to remove the ground and destroy them in acid or something like that. :steamhappy:
