This mod let you purchase also not neighbouring Areas.
I also incorporated the possibility to purchase 25 Areas instead of 9. This mod is possibly not compatible with any other mod which changes Areas mechanic.

To navigate camera between two unconnected Areas build something were the camera can attach to and then focus on that building.

There are camera mods which ignore city limits by mistake so it should be possible to have a camera mod which does it by purpose ;)

Be aware that unconnected Areas cannot share water/sewage and electricity. Services which rely on vehicels are possible functional if connected to the same highway.
