Deer as Livestock

Could you upload the "busy pastures" mod? Best mod there ever was, but I lost it in a pc crash :(

Deer should need much larger pasture by fact coz they are really domestic lol

Deer are pretty domesticated in UK as well. They live in parks and are culled every now and then.

There are some farms with deer near where I live in America as well. They have very tall fences and keep somewhere around 6-18 at any given time.

I live in New Zealand, we have a lot of domesicated deers on farms here. Yes it might just be us but it's not near impossible to do.

We have more cows/sheep though.

Love the idea, hate the reality. Deer are about impossible to domesicate. You are welcome to read Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond for more details.

I haven't been able to confirm this, but do the hunting cabins take deer from the pasture? So far I see really good stats from the two hunting cabins I placed next to the deer pasture, but my other cabins are just as good so I can't tell.

I noticed that my pasture does not produce any leather or venison at all, but maybe having all the deer in one easy hunting spot makes the hunters more efficient. Just remember to put exactly one hunter in every cabin, because the cabin has a two month waiting period between kills, no matter how many hunters are in it.

That's literally how all other livestock and seeds are obtained....

I haven't seen any merchants come with livestock since I used this mod :(
