The Hoxton Revenge Heist Guide

A guide explaining how to complete the Hoxton Revenge heist in both stealth and loud. Includes locations for the alarm boxes, panic room, keycards, FBI PCs, FBI boss and evidence.

Hello, This guide is currently in the very early stages, but I will be updating this guide as I go along, so please feel free to leave a comment below if there's anything worth noting to add to this guide, and I'll get onto it!

Important Notes
  • This heist cannot be ECM rushed from start to finish.
  • The heist can be ECM rushed after opening the Panic Room.
---------------- Plan A - Stealth ----------------
Get past the Outer Fence
When you start the heist you will start at the front of the FBI safehouse with the rat inside.

There are several ways you can approach getting past the outer fence, you can either pick one of the two locked gates, or you can find the breakable planks in the fence to get in. Both options won't alert any passing guards of your presence.
Get inside the House
Once you've breached the outer fence and are within the house grounds, you'll need to get into the house. The first instinct most people will have is to immediately start picklocking the first window or door they see. This will put you in for a bad time if you don't take your time!

What you need to do first is look through all the windows and doors for an alarm box with a timer above it. This is actually a pain to spot at times. But is highly recommended you do.


What you need to do now, is to picklock a window, get inside and deactivate the alarm before the timer runs out, as the timer will start to count down as soon as the picklocking is finished.


Tip: In the event you can't find the alarm, or someone else has opened a window without thinking. The alarm box will keep making a clicking noise, allowing you to locate it by sound.

(I will be adding all the locations of the alarm boxes in a section at the bottom of the guide.)
Find the Panic Room
Basically, you're looking for a room like in the pictures below, and it is in a random location within the building, usually in one of the bedrooms.


The panic room will have an assortment of interactable things on the outside. There will sometimes be 2 keycard readers and an extra input to start the door's timelock. The other 2 inputs will either require you to lead the FBI boss through the house to use the retinal scanner, or to hack a computer somewhere in the house to get a code for the door.
Opening the Panic Room
RNG Option 1 - Keycards
This will require you to find 2 keycards that will be in random places around the house. These can also be picked up before finding the panic room.

(I will be making a section at the bottom of the guide showing the locations in which all of the keycards will spawn.)

RNG Option 2 - Climbing the Telephone Pole for a Code
For this, you will have to leave the premises and climb a telephone pole located near to the house. They're not hard to find, as they are quite prominent against the skyline, or you can just find the wires attached to the house and follow them from the house to the pole.

When you've located the telephone pole, you will need to go over to it and start climbing it. Just walk into the pole parallel with the metal struts to start climbing it. Once at the top of the pole, you will need to open and rewire the electrical box. After which, you will have to place a phone inside the box to ring the FBI HQ and get the code for the panic room.

Once all that is done, return to the panic room and enter the code into the keypad on the front.

RNG Option 3 - Getting the FBI Boss for the Retinal Scanner
For this, you will need to find the FBI boss. The FBI boss will be dressed differently and will be stood in front of a board with evidence on it somewhere in the house.

Once you have found the boss, you will need to tie him down and prepare to lead him to the panic room. Getting the FBI Boss around the house stealthily is definitely a challenge, especially with the patrolling guards all over the house, this will definitely present problems if a guard sees him being moved.

When at the panic room, the FBI boss will automatically use the retinal scanner. But be warned, that once he's finished using it, he will become untied and will more than likely try to ring the police. It is advised that you either kill him or tie him up again once he's finished unlocking the panic room.

RNG Option 4 - Hacking an FBI PC for a Code
The game won't give you any idea where the PC to hack will be, so you will need to scout the house for it. I ran past it a few times when I attempted this, especially not knowing where it would be. But basically, you're looking for a laptop like this.

Just start hacking the computer, but be wary of any guards that might walk by and see it, as the hacking will alert them. Also, stay close to the computer, as you will need to take the code from it once it has finished hacking.

Once you have the code from the PC, just return to the panic room and put the code into the keypad next to the door.

Timelock
Once you have gotten 2 of the RNG options done. A timelock will start above the door, which will indicate how long it will take for the door to open.

This won't alert any guards, so it is recommended that you stay out of sight till it's done. Just be warned that placing an ECM will pause the timelock. This means that you can't technically ECM rush the mission, or even buy the mission more time by placing an ECM. This means that if a guard sees somebody before the timelock is finished and you have no pagers left. It is guaranteed that the alarm will go off before you can progress any further with the mission.
Kill the Traitor!
Now open the panic room and kill the traitor!

(For the sake of no unexpected spoilers, I'm putting all the [SPOILER] content in a seperate section!)
Steal the Evidence
Before you can leave, Bain will ask you to steal the evidence in the house in order to protect Crime.net. You can also steal extra evidence on top of the necessary amount in order to get a bigger payout. The evidence will come in 2 forms, boxes or corkboard notes, as shown in the two images below.


Tip: You can steal corkboard notes through the walls.
Escape!
Just jump in the van and receive your well earned ego boost!
----------------- Plan B - Loud -----------------
Find the Panic Room
The same as Plan A, you will start at the front of the building, this time just in heavier gear.


You will now need to find the panic room inside the house, this is exactly the same as Plan A, just with a lot more rooty-tooty-pointy-shooty.
Set up the Thermal Lance
Just hold out whilst Bile delivers the thermal lance. Whilst waiting, you might consider barricading the windows and doors around the panic room with planks to prevent the snipers from shooting you.


Once he arrives with it, go and collect the thermal lance from outside and set it up in front of the panic room.


Now you just have to hold out until it's finished drilling.
Kill the Traitor!
Now to open the panic room door, just be warned that when doing this heist on loud, the traitor will be fully armoured and shoot you upon opening the panic room, unlike Plan A.
Steal the Evidence
As what happens with Plan A, Bain will ask you to steal the evidence around the house. The main difference is that you're moving the evidence onto the roof of the house to throw in Bile's helicopter instead of the van out front. This part can be a pain, as the bags will slowly start to slide off of the roof when you throw them up there, it's advisable that you wait for someone to get on the roof before throwing the evidence up there.
Escape!
Just jump in the invincible helicopter of fleeting and buckle in to pick a card.

The alarm box can only be seen through 2 windows, the one on the decking above the stream and one of the windows towards the back left corner of the house.

On the kitchen counter, you will find a cork board and up to 3 boxes of evidence.

Camera Room Locations

Behind a door in the garage outside the main building.
Behind a door that's down the corridor that leads outside from the basement.
Roof Camera Access
As Bain mentions, he has an inside man set spycams and drones up around the building. To access the cameras for these, you will need to get to the access point on the roof of the building. It will be in the same spot and will be constantly outlined yellow so you can always find it from the start of the heist even if you didn't know where it was.

If you look up, you can see the locations of where the drones are in the sky.

This is the camera feed presented to you from the drones, giving you a tactical view across the outside of the entire house, allowing your teammates to track the outdoor movements of the guards.
Assets
There are only four assets for this heist. They consist of an ammo bag, a medic bag, a grenade case and body bags.
