This is my first Steam guide so favourite if you like and leave a comment, i have 60+ hours playtime on King Arthur's Gold, I personally have a lot of experience as a Builder, and this guide is me sharing my expertise with you, and also sharing techniques and good ways to play as Builder.

So you want to be a Builder, eh? ok, first you need to learn the basics;

First of all, always make sure you start with some supplies from your teams tent, even a small amount will be ok to start your structure

Stone stone stone, stone is the most important supply of the game, don't see any stone? dig down in a convenient place, not near any shops or structures.

Next, shops, 1 shop frame is made from 150 wood, you generally start with 100 wood so start chopping, Archer, Knight, Builder, storage and quarters (the one with the bed) shops all take 50 wood.

Griefing. just no. don't grief. no. someone built a shop in the wrong place? point it out and let them fix it, griefing is an offence, you can get kicked or banned for griefing.

Basics lesson over.

Capture the flag or CTF is the most popular game mode, at the start of a round there will be a red wall, you cannot pass this, the red wall will disappear in about 125 seconds, so prepare.



Flag. the flags are the most important things in CTF, protect them at all costs, to capture a flag, steal an enemy flag and return it to one of your flags (only if the flag is in its flag spawn).

Flag base. to start, you need at least 200 stone, preferably 300 or more if you are on your own, you need doors and walls, the walls need to be at least 2 blocks thick to protect it fully.



Forward defense. forward defense is towers or walls forward from the flag base, their use is to protect your base, build a tall tower or a thick one, stone is stronger, it has to be strong or have spike or other forms of trap or defense.

Roles. each Builder has to have a role, one or two for flag defense, one for shop building and defense for shops, two or three for forward defense, roles are very important in CTF. remember your role and negotiate with teammates about different roles.

The best defense is a good offense. offense is essential for success, keep Knights and infiltrator Archers supplied with shops and a safe place to come back to.

Offense Builders. another role is the offense Builder, with an Archer and a Knights help, an offense Builder has a good chance of retrieving or capturing a flag, the offense Builders role is to infiltrate the enemy base.

The Flag Retrieval. an Archer has the best chance of capturing a flag, the Archer has the grappling hook which gives him an advantage by being more agile.

Take The Halls or TTH is one of the less popular game modes, it consists of at least 2 Halls, a team needs to capture all Halls to win.

First hall. each team starts with a hall at one end of the map, supplies drop in boxes from the sky randomly at regular intervals, hold E and click open to open them. they generally contain around 250 Wood and 200 Stone.



Capturing Halls. to capture a Hall, simply stand inside the hall for a short period of time and it will be captured, watch out! if there is an enemy inside the hall you will not be able to capture it.

Workers. when you start or when you capture a Hall, there will be Workers inside, Workers teleport to a Workshop if one is present, you can only build as many Workshops as you have Workers.



Research. go to a Hall to research, vote to unlock items with a yellow chain and then once research is finished you will be able to make the corresponding Workshop.

Factories. you can create a Factory from a Workshop if it has been researched and unlocked, Factories make supplies depending on which factory you have chosen.

Team Deathmatch

LeL you can't play as a builder on Team Deathmatch, play as either Knight or Archer. :D

Sandbox.

Build anything or change class.

Griefers should not be tolerated on Sandbox.

And the part you have been waiting for, the epic, the amazing... Derp.

Last word basically.

When you build a structure, remember, always have support, the whole structure will fall if you destroy all of the blocks connecting to a secure structure or the floor.
