I have been getting an error message when I try to publish a new weapon design for CSGO saying "failed to upload file stream"

Hello everyone.
This guide will help you solve the problem related to the Steam Workshop.

Have you ever had a problem Upload ?

I mean this error :

Solution by Steps

The problem is with your local files that fail to be connected with CSGO Cloud servers.
For fix this problem you need :

I. Exit Steam and make sure that Steam Cloud CSGO is enabled.

-> For check this :
1) Open Steam
2) Go to the library
3) Click Right on "Counter-Strike : Global Offensive"
4) Go to the "Update"tab
5) Steam Cloud must be checked.

II. Alter the content of all files in Steam\userdata\SteamID\AppID\remote.

1) Go to Steam\userdata\SteamID\
2) Create a folder Backup in Desktop and copy all files Cloud from "Steam\userdata\SteamID\AppID\"
3) Usually the game (CSGO) folder is called "730" see "745" , delete all files + folder from "730" and "745"
4) After that, Launch Steam.

III. You got a problem with Steam Cloud CSGO now

/!\ DON'T CHECK AGAIN THE STEAM CLOUD CSGO IN "UPDATE" TAB RIGHT NOW.

1) Launch CSGO.exe
2) Type in the console : workshop_publish.
3) Add your item, that works !

PS : If you check again the Steam Cloud CSGO.exe,you got the Steam Cloud CSGO but you got automatically an error when you want upload a new skin. For the moment, i don't know fix this problem. But its not necessary to have the Steam Cloud for play and upload skin.

Испытываю такую же проблему, но с загрузкой карты. Публикация проходит, а потом ошибка, обновить работу нельзя. Инструкция не помогла, тока растерял настройки. Публикация новых работ возможна, но их все равно не видно и управлять нельзя. Ранее есть 3 карты опубликованные, они спокойной работают.

Ещё эта ошибка может возникать из-за того, что название вашей работы слишком длинное.
This error may also occur because the title of your work is too long.

Uploading "submit" new skin overwrites the previous submission
Submitting new skin overwrites the previous submission
Example: submitted P90 a week ago now submitting a new skin and the old skin gets
overwritten by the new one?
Any ideas?
