Tier 1
This will take some time and require commitment which may or may not result in you being an ineffective monster at winning a match.

So check out this video Colt Rosewood made showing off the skin in all stages without armour and with full armour. Before you commit.

Ability Requirements
  • Rock Throw - Deal 12,000 damage.
  • Leap Smash - Deal 12,000 damage.
  • Fire Breath - Deal 12,000 damage.
  • Charge - Deal 8,000 damage.

The first tier challenges are pretty straight forward, you'll have to deal damage with your abilities to Hunters and Wildlife also counts to the mastery.

So with the abilities try to attack clustered hunters or packs of wildlife that more close to each other to do more damage and unlock it faster. This can be completed in 2-4 games depending if you spread out your stat points or focus them one by one. I recommend spreading them out evenly at a spread of 3,2,2,2,. and then cycle it 2,3,2,2 and so on until you complete them.

Once completed you will unlock Kraken as a playable monster, all abilities get a 2% upgrade in damage for Rock Throw and range for everything else and will move on to tier 2 masteries.
Tier 2
Ability Requirements
  • Rock Throw - Deal damage to different targets 35 times
  • Leap Smash - Deal damage to different targets 50 times
  • Fire Breath - Deal damage to different targets 175 times
  • Charge - Deal damage to different targets 50 times

The same tactic applies here as it can be done on wildlife as well as hunters, use your abilities for hunting enough and you should get it in about an hour or two of actual monster gameplay.

Completing this tier unlocks
  • a cool looking Badge Foreground and all abilites get a 5% upgrade in damage for Rock Throw and range for everything else. and will move on to tier 3 masteries.
Tier 3
Stuff and things Requirements.
  • Rock Throw - Hit Hunters whilst they are mid-air 150 times.
  • Leap Smash - Damage Hunters from 20 meters 50 times.
  • Fire Breath - Deal 80,000 damage to mid-air Hunters.
  • Charge - Hit multiple Hunters 100 times.

Completing this tier unlocks
  • a cool looking Badge Foreground and all abilites get a 10% upgrade in damage for Rock Throw and range for everything else. and of course the reason you're here the Albino Skin.
Tier 3 | Tactics. Mostly solo mode part.
The best way I've figured out to do all of the mastery for tier three is by playing at Fusion Plant, level up to stage three fast as you can and head for the generator room.

If you'd like to grind solo you can get it done pretty quickly.

  • Simply start a custom/solo Hunt game
  • Play with a minion at your side as a map effect or none if that's what you feel like it. I used a minion in one of my games and have found that they are very effective at stalling Hunters as you go around quickly eating to stage up.
  • Set balance to favour monster.
  • Wildlife population to high.
  • Match Length to 40 minutes, if you got time for that.[i.imgur.com]
  • Reinforcement to 15 or 30 seconds, 30 this should give should give enough time between Hunter kills to build up your armour. Bots won't follow you if you leave the relay they never will. So when your armour is low or gone just simply leave between their deaths making sure that at least one hunter is still alive. You don't want to kill them all at the same time, we're trying to grind here not kill.
  • and leave everything else on default.

Customize the teams and pick the Goliath to play as for obvious reasons.
Best team set up to go against would be Caira, Bucket, Griffin and Parnell. As they won't overwhelmed you say if they have mines, toxic bombs, harpoon traps, shields, damage amp... the works.
With Caira as medic, the hunters won't die too quickly and they should be strong enough to to survive your full on assault.

Recommended perks.
  • Ability cooldown faster. Best when doing the other challenges before you do Fire Breath.
  • Damage increase. Best when you're done with everything and just need to do Fire Breath.
  • Armour Regeneration. Good if you don't want to bother with regaining armour when you're in the relay.

Stage up to 3 as fast as you can with your minions help should take about 4 minutes to get to stage 3. But refrain from killing and eating wildlife with buffs on them, they will be more of use later when you have fight the hunters,

Best point spread for this would be 2,2,3,2. As everything but Fire breath requires you to do a whooping 80,000 damage to hunters, whilst they are in the air.
Level 2 Leap smash should have enough range in it to leap from 20 metres away. Your minion has a metre counter, use it as a guide to see how far the hunters are.
So this is how we do it.
Once everything is set up and you know what you want to do, simply go into the generator room.
Get up here preferably as the other side of the fallen ramp is where hunters will come in as they drop from the ship. Recommended song to play[youtubeloop.net] while you're doing the flame breath mastery.

when they come in they will jet pack across the gap and when they do feel free to either rock them or bake them. When they are on the ramp with you a simple melee attack will push them back down. Where Caira can heal them, for some reason Caira never goes up after you.

They will come up in the bunch so when they do.

Charge them while they are grouped up. This is done pretty easily without killing them off and knocks them back down to ground floor for Caira to heal.

Also clearing these bars should help the hunters get to you faster and the side.

If the timer starts appearing and you still want some action simply attack it to stall the countdown.

You can get anyone between 10k-20k maybe even 30k damage per game depending on how aggressive the hunters are.

I believe that's all about it and you should get it done in about five-six games.

Here's me having a Dear Kitten moment with my minion, showing him how it's done.

That is all thank you for making it to the end of the guide, click here[youtubeloop.net] to check out a video of a silver on gold skin mod I did for Goliath

I lost the data after a botched computer format, luckily 2/3rds of the guide has been uploaded here but not published yet. Should be done once I get esential programs installed on my PC.

So... to the people that unlock all of the mastery or do it using solo mode... lol.. what good are the upgrades if you dont learn to use them through experience? I got mine through playing goliath only until lvl 40.. online only

Man, why would you go into solo mode to farm up a skin? Seems like a shitty way to unlock it instead of actually earning it.

SURELY Through the Fire and Flames for the Flame Breath would be more appropriate? Also in the level 2 masteries, you say they unlock 10% damage bonus, when it's only 5%. Just proofreading for you, I won't even charge. Also VERY nice guide, loads of effort clearly, made mine look positively spartan by comparison. Now where did I put my pet Minion?
