While running about, jumping across rooftops and dodging poorly located crates, you will most likely encounter a few hostile forces. Let us see what they are.

Spearmen- Crouching Hostiles armed with spears, you can defeat these by jumping.

Swordsmen- Agile Hostiles armed with short swords, they'll leap right at you! Have no fear, you can simply slide under them.

Nephilims- Heavily Armoured Hostiles that will require a special move to take them out.

Yes, you can defeat Spearmen by leaping over them. How?

Depending on which control set you use, you can jump either by pressing 'W' or the up arrow key.

Be careful! Occasionally the game will try to trick you by arming Swordsmen with Spears and Spearmen with Swords. Just watch them carefully, if they're crouching low to the ground, they're most likely a Spearman.

Swordsmen usually give themselves away by holding their sword high in the air and swaying their hips- No, I'm not kidding.

To defeat these, simply press either the 'S' key or the downwards arrow key, whichever you prefer to use.

Sometimes these will leap out at you from behind a pillar or a sharp turn. Don't panic, just calmly slide under them like a true Shadow.

Things not difficult enough for you? Meet one of the toughest enemies you'll encounter in the game, the Nephilim. These can be defeated with one of four special moves.

Mana Regeneration- This is triggered by pressing 1 on your keyboard. As the name suggests, it regenerates a portion of your Mana. Useful on those Mana collecting missions.

Vampirism- This skill is extremely useful when low on health. Simply press 2 on your keyboard, and you'll suck the life out of him, giving yourself 50 HP in the process.

Rage Restoration- Press 3 on your keyboard, kill the Nephilim, get angry, profit.

Execution- Stab that Nephilim right in the chest with your amazing Assassination skills. It may seem dull compared to the other abilities, until you realise it shoots you ahead at an incredible speed, smashing all obstacles and killing all enemies that stand in your way. Press 4 on your keyboard, by the way.
