Introduction to chapter 8
Are you tired of being broke?Have you had enough of not knowing how to spend your money?Do you want to know how to spend your money? Not me.I play with Sacrifice artifact. But hey,I'll still help you!Lemme deactivate it..Here we go.So,now I need to give you tips on how to spend your money, right?Ok,I guess I'll try, even though I have no ideas how it works!
Zoom Scale
Go to Options, then Audio and Video, and set it to 1x scale. It helps a LOT to find everything on the map! If you don't play in 1x Zoom Scale it'll be prettier and your health bar will be bigger but that's still so much less useful
Chests
This sectoin will be about chests. There's 3 types of chests:Regular,Large, and golden.

Regular chests:

Those chests are the cheapest. They'll most of the time drop white items, but might drop greens or oranges and even reds if you're a lucky bastard. They're worth every penny and will be the main way you'll get items.Whenever you see one, buying it will be your top priority

Large Chests:

Those chests costs double the Regular ones. They never drop white items, instead they drop greens, oranges and sometimes reds. They are most of the time the one you want to buy at most, because of the higher rarity chances.Sadly, they do cost the price of 2 regular chests,so get them only if the green items are more useful to you then white items (For exemple,if you've got command, you might want to get 2 Goat Hooves more then 1 Tough Times. In that case, get the 2 regulars at the place of the large one and you might even get some free green/red item!)

Golden Chests:

Pimpy chests that only appears on the Temple of the Elders and the Risk of Rain levels. They cost a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but have 100% chance to drop Red items. It really does cost a LOT though,so either use an Explorer's Key,Grind a lot or leave it there. There's only 2 in the game if you don't reroll through levels though and red items are rare,so you might want to open it if you need one.
Shrines
Shrines are places where you can recieve white, green, red and orange items at a cost lower then chests. Why is it not abused then? It's only a percentage of succeeding. You might spend your money on the shrine and it'll give you nothing. Also, the more you use it,the higher the cost. They also break after a 2 wins.

Money Shrines

Those shrines will maybe give you an item of ANY rarity (Unless Yellow or Purple) for a cost. It'll break after 2 uses, and it's the most common shrine.Care to gamble?

Imp Shrines

When you use this shrine,5 Tiny Imps will appear.Killing them without time running out will give you an item.Usable twice, and it's easier to get an item with Area of Effect skills or items like the Ceremonial Dagger.

Health Shrines

Those shrines are just like the Money shrines, but will remove your HP.There is 2 typse of those:The percentage ones, and the set amount ones.Percentages will remove a percentage of your health, while set mount will remove a set amount of your health. On success, they'll drop 2 identical items.
Drones
Drones are little robots you can buy that will help you. They can be broken and requires more and mroe money the more they break. There's multiple types of drones, each having special effects.Arms race is really helpful when you have a lot of drones!

Basic Drone
Those drones will fire at enemies for 9-14 damage/tick.They're the cheapest drone in both power and money. They really aren't much of a help unless you have a lot of them,

Healing Drones
Those little guys will heal you 5HP/tick.Kinda useful to have one,but having a couple of them really increases health regen by a lot.

Advanced Healing Drones
Now we're talking. Those heals you 25 HP/tick,which means 5 times more then the Healing Drones.Having 4 of them will give you 100HP/Tick,but gathering more will make you even more overpowered!

Attack Drones
Stronger then the basic drone, this one fires faster and twice, dealing (12-18) x2/Tick damages. It's way more cost efficient, and with Arms Race it's a beast. You defenitively want this one.

Missile Drone
Those will fire missiles for 40/Tick damage.Kinda good, but is also not common to find and costs quite a bit.Spawns onl after third stage.

Laser Drone
This little dude has piercing shots, attacking of 250/tick and hitting everthing that it's laser will find.Sadly,it's not that common, has very low rate of fire and costs a LOT,it's the most expensive drone of the game alongside Flame. But if you can get it..Do it.

Flame Drone
This drone. It's a flamethrower that will deal huge amount of damages over time (The damages aren't known exactly). It can only be found in the Magma Barracks and will fire some fire. It's alongside the laser drone the most expensive drone in the game, and really rare. But finding it is life-changing.
I've got no ideas how it's called,I'll call it Markets
Some special places that I have no ideas what are called,so I called them Markets. There's 2 types, and they cost more then regular chests while giving a larger item choice

Triple Market

Those places give you the choice between 3 items to buy. They cost more than chests but it's the only way to get a specific item without Command. You might also fall on a ? slot that'll give you a random item or an item box for Command users.

Mystery Market

This place will,on purchase, scroll through a list of item quickly until it's passed a certain amount. It'll go faster the longer it scrolls. You can press F to stop it and have the item shown on screen when you pressed or get a random one by letting it finish scrolling, giving you the last item. It's the place where you have the highest item choice in the whole game without Command artifact.
Ending of chapter 8
And this is how Chapter 8 ends

Note from Xgpmcnp:Since I play a lot with Sacrifice on,I had to remove it and that was a whole other world.Chests?Shrines?Drones?Oh my god,a use for money?I luckily didn't have much trouble adapt and I find playing without sacrifice still enjoyable, even though it mind-♥♥♥♥♥♥ me a lot.

Note from Coffeechipmunk:Xgpmcnp did all the work on this one,he really wanted to release 2 guides in 1 night simply because we didn't get to release one last night. Also this is defenitively not Xgpmcnp talking and taking himself for me because he wasn't able to contact me after he finished the whole guide for me to leave a note.Defenitively not.

You can use any parts of this guide anywhere you wish, and you do not need to mention my name, even though it'd be appreciated.Just don't claim it as yours, since that's a ♥♥♥♥♥ slap on my face and my work.

Special thanks to:
Anonxident,my girlfriend, for talking to me and helping me on certain English expression I had difficulty with (Frenchy over here!)
Moxicles,Erladino and Cogi234 for their feedback!

Tropical Mix Juicefor removing my thirst and giving me enough sugar to stay awake.
[Insert what I've eaten recently here] for removing my hunger and tasting so good
Risk of Rain for having a nice main menu music, which fits the atmosphere and is just plain good

And this Special Thanks section, for letting me write a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and make most of you guys laugh.

I don't remember the maths we did, but I don't see why a random item should be costier than a choice between 3 items we know what it is. Maybe it scales, yeah.

I'm pretty sure the Triple Market thing don't cost more than chests. At least in the first level, the items are at 25 gold, just like the small chests. Not sure how it scales afterwards though.

Oh yes, that thing is simply godly. I've been using it the whole time. I'll write it so it's obvious

Excellent guide, also one thing that you might be able to write down. One unfreakingbelievably easy was to find the teleporter and save so much time is to change your 'Audio and Video' settings to 'Zoom Scale: x1'

seriously:golem:
