Intro.
Yes, some experienced players from the kind of those who run the game to make one more build will probably ask me:

«What is so complicated, then? The bosses have already become too predictable for me. And their tactics are kind of a beaten track. And mobs, even more so, don’t pose any threat».

But, there is one thing. The point is that your goal in PvP is to kill the enemy as much as possible quickly and efficiently. Whatever it’s the host or an invader. While in co-op, this goal is to extend the life of the host and ... kill bosses/mobs before they kill the host (see extended host’s life).

Actually, not everybody plays this game for the seventh time. There are a lot of beginners. But, nevertheless, others will thank you, even if they’re not.

So what? If you eager to help others, then unleash you inner Solaire! Let’s get started!
Soleir’s moved to Dark Souls 2, and now his style combines invincible might of a powerful weapon and lightning bolts in his hands, and also the love to his neighbors and therefore an ability to cure wounded people in a wide radius. Due to his lightning damage, the hero is perfect against all the bosses and mobs, and his great hammer - malformed skull allows dealing lot’s of damage, while the requirements of strength and dexterity are more than ridiculous.

  • Class: Cleric
  • Soul Level:100

Vigor – 19
Endurance - 20
Vitality – 8

Dexterity - 7
Adaptability - 15
Intelligence - 4
Faith - 52
How to develop the soul and the body. What items are good for New Solaire.
  • Abilities: "Soothing sunlight," "Great lightning spear", "Heavenly Thunder", "Sunlight blade" (in order to make his malformed skull divine weapon shine with sunlight, worthy of Gwyn’s son).

However, occasionally, boss doesn’t let you get close to him; then strike the enemy with your miracles. Let him see your glinting glory.

But don’t forget about your friends. If one of them has suffered grievously, you should heal him immediately, until it’s too late. To be honest, it’s so important, that I should’ve written it on the first place.

Dress code: Listen, you wear Heide Knight helm :) to suit the image and loincloth (but that’s optional, not a compulsory).

    • Weapons:
    • The first pair: Dragon chime, malformed skull (two-handed). Upgrade these hot babes up to the maximum.
The second pair: No weapons, in order to win friends and even enemies.

Rings: Southern Ritual Band +2, Clear Bluestone Ring +2, Ring of Prayer, Third Dragon Ring (the best ring in the game :D )

    • Consumables: Herbs to restore spell use, repair powder to repair the hammer. It breaks down quickly.

    • Tactics: Beat bosses and mobs up consistently. Most of mobs die from one jumping attack. By the way, jumping attack is the most effective due its rather high speed and damage. At least with a great hammer used.
The code of honour and the image.
  • Mood and attitude to the job: Fierce desire to help people.

Attitude toward the host’s invaders - moderately radical (firstly come out from shadows let the enemy see you, also let him know that the host’s under your protection. Then strike, if he’s still determined to kill the host).

Attitude toward your own invaders - pacifistic (better hide - we are too fragile to be an MLG Pro PvP build). However, those who’re good at handling great hammers can dare to. But it doesn’t suit true Solaire then.

  • Tips: Don't forget about the helm. Choose the name of your character correctly, in order to inspire team-mates and outline your sunlight nature, and you’ll see, that they will fight with their hands steady and with their thoughts clear, performing extremely well.

    Better avoid such situation:

Yeah, small soapstone is a good idea to get summoned on lower SM, but we need to put it down closer to boss fog, to avoid "duty fulfilled" situation halfway boss fight or before. I agree with you, about tokens of fidelity, but a sunbro might have too few of them.

Good guide, perhaps tokens of fidelity on hotbar to save the host and small soapstone.(Simply put it lets you connect to people with lower soul memory than the full soapstone.

Thank you :) You're right about Red Eye ring. But I just didn't have a spare slot. Though, I had another variant of this build without the hammer but with Gyrm great shield and miracles only. I thought, it would be effective against the fire bosses compared with Red Eye ring. Boss was supposed to hit the shield all the time, while the host was killing him. But it turned out not to be so. Boss kept on forgetting about me.
