Creating Objectives
If you’ve not read Parts 1 – 4, please go check them out and then come back here to read this guide on creating objectives for the player.

Now we have a very basic scene, we can start to create objectives. First, let’s select the playable tugboat, this will bring up the waypoints. In its current state, the mission will end when the player reaches the final way point. But what if we wanted them to berth the ship? Select one of the way points and in the trigger toolbox menu select the anchor icon.

This will bring up the anchor menu, all you need to do is click on the checkbox and you have created an anchor waypoint where in order to activate the anchor, players will need to stop their ship in this position.


We can then rotate, position and scale the anchor point where we need it to be.


These anchor points can be used for any way point.

In the next video we’ll explain how to create missions specifically for the tugboat.
