I think that Golden Freddy is Fredbear because it looks like the company is trying to hide him. They are trying to hide him because they don't want anything to do with the old restaurant: Fredbear's Family Diner. This also explains why Freddy doesnt have as much wrecks as the older animatronics- because hes a newer version of Fredbear. If you look at Golden Freddy closely, he seems to have a missing ear, some wires hanging from his right eye(In Golden Freddy's perspective), and has rough stains on his suit. That explains that he is slightly older than Freddy. Phone Guy mentions that the restaurant closed down due to an odor and just creepy looking animatronics(At least to me). And Golden Freddy is creepy. I dont know if his wrecks are from Fritz Smith(thats who i think who the purple guy is) taking out the endoskeleton, or if the restaurant staff were trying to dismantle him.
