Spawn floor: You will start in a room turn on your flashlight, becareful an infected may show up at the door you need to leave to get some weapons, avoid this one and grab the gun on the flat table between the chairs then kill the infected
watch yourself some infected my glitch though the wall and get behind you, grab the knife in the kitchen, watch yourself there may be infected just outside the door so use caution
if you get damged find a safe place and watch your back, you will heal after a bit to full health; watch your ammo you can easily run out if you waste it, only use your gun if you need to, the knife does decent damge
1 floor down: you can go down the stairs near spawn or on other side of Hotel, the far set has a mad survivor with a gun best shoot her after she fires, more infected, a room with ammo and hand gun but has 2 mad survivors that will attack you (one with AK), guard is in the room below spawn
2 floors down: watch your self if your searching this floor there are infected kids in the game
3 floors down:exit to city when have the key from the gaurd at the far stairs from spawn
Loot Checker:
Top floor: your room has a knife in kitchen, gun and ammo on table in living room; mad survivor dops some loot, best to grab the knife and gun then head to next floor down
1 floor down: a room with gun and ammo but will spawn an NPC with AK47 and another with bat when your next to the couch, ammo in room below spawn
2 floors down:shot gun shells in a room

Hotel NPCs
infected: brown hair with gray shirt does 15 damge with his hand
white hair and shirt does 13 damge with hand
hospital patient infected does 12 damge with hand
survivors: brown hair female does 18 damage with her gun (has a delay between shots)

Extra information
Low end computers may still experience some lag in Hotel, mine does
infected seem to spawn in intervals not sure yet what the time is or is at random

After leaving the Hotel you may hear zombies moaning, best not go looking for them until you have a better weapon, if your near a pickup next to a buss jump onto the vehicles then onto the bus to heal
To find the key on the doctor, kill the infected with teal uniforms
get to the hostpital and search the vehicals on the way
use the menu if you want to plan a quick escape, make saves, load saves

Infected: cop attacks with hand doing 14 damge
skinny shirtless does 17 damage with butcher's knife
girl scout slaps you with 17 damge
Becareful you do take fall damge! good for you if you find your dead body, i find my piled on eachother as i am working on this guide lol
best to continue and search the H (Hospital) for suplies before the infected kill you

Once entering the hospital (what i consider an easter egg is in here)
once you go past the counter you have 2 options, pull down the boards to your left to go upstairs (Advised to talk to survivor first) or go forward and find a Survivor, who will tell you to go upstairs with a quest
[Option 1] Going for the Survivor
Before you go through the door infront of you go through the door to the right and make a note of the bodies in there (this may be important), there will be ammo in one or all of the three rooms before you get to the Survivor, after gather more ammo continue down the hall and you will find a room to your left with Jilly Thomas, she will talk to you about the elevator being broken and going upstairs to fix it
[Option 2] Going upstairs
pull down the boards without shooting them, if you found a gun already (waste of ammo), go upstairs, to your left is a broken elevator and a hall, ahead is the blocked stair way, go down the hall, the first room has a recorder and body, you can search the second room if you want, i suggest talking to Jilly Thomas before going past the 3rd room to understand the story, on your right is a room with a health kit (take the health kit you will need it if you dont already), farther down the hall is another set of stairs
[Jilly Thomas' quest]
she will tell you about the broken elevator and finding a way out, go upstairs near her room
what happend to the lights? were did these infected come from? should i run or fight? kill the infected on the top floor then fix the elevator panel (bottom->bottem left, right->top left, top->bottom right, left->top right), return to the broken elevator and get in (kill any infected in the way)
[basement]
BOO, kill it, there will be a room on the left of the hall, ammo inside, go up the stairs kill the infected then grab the ammo at the center desk, when done here go into the bunker though sewer hatch

Did you notice the zombie babies?

Once inside go thought the hall to a room with bodies and a surviver
[Max's Quest]
after starting, go though the door opposite of Max, take the first door on the right, there will be infected in here so keep on gaurd
going farther down the hall you will come to a slit to the left and straight
Go straight then left and get the ammo on the desk before going down the wide hall, take the first right and grab the ammo on the desk in that area, then head back to Max, but before turning left to the room with the survivor
head right and cross the bridge, do not forget about your flashlight, take your first right now, second room on your right has the shotgun
return to Max and give him the shotgun
[The way Out]
if you want to explore the rest of the place your welcome
go back to the area before you got the shot gun on the other side of the bridge
the second door on the right is a room with ammo, the first hall on the left before the mass dead infected hall has a shotgun after completing Max's quest
move the boxes and get to the recorder
you can trade the shotgun for the handgun or keep the shotgun, go left after the recorder, go left for ammo and health pack in the room or go right to the way out
on your way out is a hall to the left with ammo in the room, sewer entrance at end of the wide hall to escape the bunker

You are now in the open world and have to find food and water to survive, no health regen that is why you picked up health kits
