This is a problem shared by some newer games of the genre. I love Torchlight games, but it sometimes happens in those too. Too much loot at once! :) It's a fun problem to have.

He he yeah, It's also the best way to get gear at you're level.
Need a new sword and cant find a good one in the shop, well just go fishing and you'll have one at you're current level in an hour or so.
