Counter Strike Global Offensive Is A Very Team Work Based Game[/b] As You Need To Communicate With Your Team To Achieve A Win In Mainly Competitive (See Game Modes Section). Microphone - This Is A Very Important Section In This Guide Don`t Skip Please! As I Said Previously This Is A Team Work Based Game Which Means You Are Going To Need A Microphone, Ensure This Microphone Makes You Voice Clear Ingame So You Can Get The Best Results!

Internet Connection - (I Think) Is Also Very Essential Because You Don`t Want To Be Playing With 300 Ping And Being A Sniper On Competitive (See Game Modes Section) You Would Have Lags All Around You.

A Solid Computer - This One Explains Itself, Have Good FPS (Frames Per Second) What This Means Is Play With A Computer That Gets No Lags For Full Comfort.

Map Knowledge - This Is Essential For Competitive, Executing Enemy`s, Hiding Spots.

Yes, CSGO Does Have Economy And A Trading System But This Guide Is Not For Trading So I Would Reccomend For Checking Out Another Guide For Trading.

Weapons - Pistols
Now We Are Getting Into The Main Aspects Of The Game......WEAPONS, Weapon Knowledge is Essential As Of Recoil. Recoil Is Mainly The Pattern A Weapon Fires Without Moving Your Mouse.

Pistols - You Always Have A Pistol Even Though You Have A Variety Of Pistols You Start Of With Glock As Terrorist And P2000 As Counter Terrorist.

Glock 18 - The Glock 18 is a serviceable first-round pistol that works best against unarmored opponents and is capable of firing three-round bursts.
Advantages-
Large magazine size
High rate of fire
Default pistol for the Terrorists
Low recoil
Light weight
Short reload time
Disadvantages -
High spread
Low damage
Low accuracy at long range

Dual Berettas - Firing two large-mag Berettas at once will lower accuracy and increase load times. On the bright side, you'll get to fire two large-mag Berettas at once.
Advantages -
High rate of fire
Large magazine size
Fairly high damage
Low recoil and spread
Lightweight
Disadvantages -
Low accuracy
Long reload time
Short accurate range

Desert Eagle (Deagle Reffered To Ingame) - As expensive as it is powerful, the Desert Eagle is an iconic pistol that is difficult to master but surprisingly accurate at long range.
Advantages -
High damage pistol
High penetration
Can do instant kill on the head even with helmet
High accuracy at long range in CS:GO
Disadvantages -
Small magazine size
Low rate of fire
High spread and recoil
Expensive in CS:GO

Five SeveN - Highly accurate and armor-piercing, the pricy Five-Seven is a slow-loader that compensates with a generous 20-round magazine and forgiving recoil.
Advantages -
Large magazine size (20 rounds)
Can instantly kill armored enemies if a headshot is scored in CS:GO
High damage in CS:GO
Quiet firing sound
Short reload time in CS:GO
Relatively cheap in CS:GO
Disadvantages -
Low damage in all CS games prior to CS:GO
Long reload time compared to other pistols prior to CS:GO
Not very accurate at longer ranges

Tec-9 - A low-accuracy semi-automatic, the Tec-9 offers excellent penetration damage and a high magazine capacity, though its recoil can be unforgiving.”

Good rate of fire

Wide spread upon continuous fire

P2000 - Accurate and controllable, the German-made P2000 is a serviceable first-round pistol that works best against unarmored opponents.
Advantages -
Inflicts better damage than the Glock-18
Default pistol for the Counter-Terrorists
High accuracy
Disadvantages -
Low ammunition in reserve compared to the Glock-18
Fairly low damage against armored opponents
Lacks the addition of an alternative burst-fire mode like the Glock-18
Slower rate of fire compared to the Glock-18

P250 - A low-recoil firearm with a high rate of fire, the P250 is a relatively inexpensive choice against armored opponents.
Advantages -
Capable of one-hit kills to the head even with the Helmet equipped.
Very cheap.
Inflicts more damage against armored opponents than the Glock, P2000, USP-S, and the Tec-9.
Low/manageable recoil.
Best pistol for most situations.
Disadvantages -
When fired continuously, it becomes less accurate
Low ammunition reserve
Less effective outside close range combat
Slightly worse first shot accuracy than the Glock and the P2000

USP-S - A fan favorite from Counter-Strike: Source, the Silenced USP Pistol has a detachable silencer that gives shots less recoil while suppressing attention-getting noise.
Advantages -
High accuracy
Low recoil
The silencer maintains stealth
No tracers if the silencer is attached
Disadvantages -
Low ammunition in reserve

CZ75-Auto - A fully automatic variant of the CZ75, the CZ75-Auto is another inexpensive choice against armored opponents. But with very little ammo provided, strong trigger discipline is required.
Advantages -
Relatively cheap ($500).
Inflicts more damage against armored opponents than the Glock, P2000, USP-S, and the Tec-9.
This is the only fully automatic pistol, making it more effective in close range combat than the other pistols.
Disadvantages -
When fired in full-auto, it becomes very inaccurate.
Its first shot has the lowest accuracy out of all the pistols in CS:GO
Very low ammunition reserve (12 rounds) and a smaller magazine than most pistols (12 rounds).
A poor weapon of choice outside close-mid range combat
Long draw and reload time (compared to most of the other pistols)

Rifles - Rifles Are Essential To The CSGO Community As They Give The Player Many Advantages Also Disadvantages And Im Here To List Them!

M4A4 - The Maverick M4A1 Carbine, often referred to as the M4, is an assault rifle featured in the Counter-Strike series, exclusive to the Counter-Terrorists. The counterpart for the Terrorists is the AK-47. In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, it was replaced by the M4A4 but was reincarnated in the Arms Deal update as the M4A1-S, taking up the same slot as its replacement.
Advantages -
Fairly high damage per bullet
Excellent at close to medium range
Low recoil and accurate
High accuracy can be maintained when fired in bursts
The silencer is ideal for stealth
The silencer increases damage at close range in Counter-Strike 1.6
Higher rate of fire than the AK-47
Lighter than most assault rifles
Disadvantages -
Damage per shot is inferior to the AK-47
Fairly expensive
In Counter-Strike 1.6, the silencer decreases accuracy
Silencer increases damage fall off
Outclassed at long range combat by sniper rifles
Not very accurate at long ranges when firing this weapon continuously

M4A1-S - Equally expensive and with a smaller magazine than its unmuffled counterpart, the silenced M4A1 provides quieter shots with less recoil and better accuracy.
Advantages -
Quiet firing sound
Low recoil
No tracers if the silencer is attached
Very accurate and relatively low spread
Disadvantages -
Low magazine size
Low amount of spare magazines in reserve
Silencer extends the weapon's length

AK-47 - Powerful and reliable, the AK-47 is one of the most popular assault rifles in the world. It is most deadly in short, controlled bursts of fire.
Advantages -
Kills helmet wearing opponents with one shot to the head.
High damage.
Fast reload.
High first shot accuracy.
Price to performance is high, and is cheaper than the M4A1, M4A4 and M4A1-S
Effective at all ranges.
First 8-9 bullets can have little to no side to side recoil
Disadvantages -
High recoil
Loses accuracy when firing multiple rounds
Slows movement speed down by about 15-20%
One of the loudest rifles

AUG - Powerful and accurate, the AUG scoped assault rifle compensates for its long reload times with low spread and a high rate of fire.
Advantages -
High first shot accuracy
High rate of fire
Has the ability to zoom in
Moderate damage (28)
Instant headshot kill at point blank range, even if a helmet is worn (CS:GO)
Useful for long range combat (firing in bursts of 3)
Disadvantages -
Low rate of fire when scoped (excluding CS:GO)
Long reload time (especially in CS:S and CS:GO)
Expensive for an assault rifle
High recoil (CS:GO only)

AWP - High risk and high reward, the infamous AWP is recognizable by its signature report and one-shot, one-kill policy.
Advantages -
Fatal damage
High penetration power
Very accurate at long range
Capable of killing a fully armored VIP in one shot
Disadvantages -
Low rate of fire
Very loud and distinct firing sound.
Heavy weight
Very expensive
Low kill reward in CS:GO
Very inaccurate when firing without scope or firing while moving
Its users become the opposition's priority
Less accurate if fired right after pulling the bolt

SSG 08 - The SSG 08 bolt-action is a low-damage but very cost-effective sniper rifle, making it a smart choice for early-round long-range marksmanship.
Advantages -
Lightweight
No additional speed reduction when zooming
Cheap
High reserve ammo capacity
Fairly silent
Very accurate shots while moving or jumping in place
Fairly accurate when unscoped
High penetration
Disadvantages -
Low rate of fire
Inflicts low damage for a sniper rifle

G3SG1 - The pricy G3SG1 lowers movement speed considerably but compensates with a higher rate of fire than other sniper rifles.
Advantages -
High damage
Above average hip-fire accuracy
Higher rate of fire than the AWP, Scout and SSG 08
Suffers less accuracy penalty when moving
Kills in two hits or less
Shares the same 7.62 ammo used by the Scout, SSG 08, and the SCAR-20
Disadvantages -
Second most expensive weapon as of CS, CS:CZ and CS:S ($5000)
One of the heaviest weapons in Counter-Strike as the player can only move around 210 units when using this gun.
No crosshair when unzoomed
High recoil while firing continuously, especially when unzoomed
Smaller magazine size than the Krieg 550 Commando (20 rounds)
Higher recoil than the SCAR-20
Long reload time

SCAR-20 - The SCAR-20 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle that trades a high rate of fire and powerful long-distance damage for sluggish movement speed and big price tag.
Advantages -
Fairly high accuracy
High tagging factor

Short reload time
Disadvantages -
Very expensive
Heavy

FAMAS - A cheap option for cash-strapped players, the FAMAS effectively fills the niche between more expensive rifles and the less-effective SMGs.
Advantages -
3-round burst firing is preferable for long-range encounters
The cheapest Counter-Terrorist assault rifle
Very accurate at long range when using bursts
Low recoil
High rate of fire
Lightweight
Disadvantages -
Low damage for an assault rifle
Low accuracy if fired in automatic mode, except in CS:S.
Low rate of fire if fired in burst-fire mode.
Slightly smaller magazine size than the other assault rifles.
Cannot fire underwater
Slightly more expensive than its Terrorists' counterpart - Galil.

SG553 - The terrorist-exclusive SG553 is a premium scoped alternative to the AK-47 for effective long-range engagement.
Advantages -
Highest first shot accuracy of any assault rifle
Highest damage per bullet against armored enemies of any assault rifle
100% armor penetration, making headshots fatal even at extreme long range
Low damage drop-off due to range (2%)
High firing rate
Short reload time
Scope increases accuracy, reduces recoil and eliminates tracers while maintaining firing rate
Scope gives a fighting chance against snipers at long range compared to unscoped rifles
Disadvantages -
High recoil
Wide spread upon continuous fire
Most expensive assault rifle on the terrorist side
Heaviest assault rifle and slowest movement speed
Scope slows down movement speed considerably
Weapons - Heavy
Heavy Weapons - These Are Powerful But Useless From Up Close!

XM1014 - The XM1014 is a powerful fully automatic shotgun that justifies its heftier price tag with the ability to paint a room with lead fast.
Advantages -
High damage at close range
High rate of fire
Can instantly kill unarmored opponents (in older games)
Lightweight
Disadvantages -
Low damage at long ranges
High recoil
Low magazine and ammo capacity
Cannot fire underwater

Nova - The Nova's rock-bottom price tag makes it a great ambush weapon for a cash-strapped team.
Advantages -
Cheap, compared to the most of the other shotguns
Deadly at close range
Instant kill if all pellets hit a target
$900 kill reward in classic competitive
The Nova has the lowest spread compared to the other shotguns
Disadvantages -
Low rate of fire
Not very useful at long ranges
Low pellet count
Ineffective against armored players
Cannot penetrate surfaces

Sawed-Off - The classic Sawed-Off deals very heavy close-range damage, but with its low accuracy, high spread and slow rate of fire, you'd better kill what you hit.
Advantages -
Compared to the other shotguns featured in Global Offensive, the Sawed-Off inflicts the most heavy damage on opponents who are sufficiently close
One of the cheapest shotguns, the same amount as the Nova.
Although the high spread may cause some pellets to not successfully hit a target, the high damage of the remaining pellets should be sufficient to eliminate a target.
Disadvantages -
Depending on the user's distance, it deals little to no damage at longer ranges.
Significantly longer pump time
Users are still vulnerable if they have to reload (similar to most of the other shotguns)
The Sawed-Off has the highest spread compared to the other shotguns.
Users may be forced to avoid large and open-spaced areas of a map due to its short effective range.

Mag-7 - The CT-exclusive Mag-7 delivers a devastating amount of damage at close range. Its rapid magazine-style reloads make it a great tactical choice.
Advantages -
High damage at close range.
Fast reload time (and has the fastest reload time when compared to emptied shotguns)
Fairly light for a shotgun
Can be fired continuously when holding down the primary attack key.
This shotgun is magazine-fed, so all five rounds can be reloaded at once, as opposed to all other shotguns that reload each shell individually.
Unlike the other shotguns, the MAG-7 can fire underwater.
More accurate than other shotguns, so it can be used at a slightly greater distance;it is even accurate while jumping.
Better armor penetration than the Nova or XM1014.
Disadvantages -
Very low magazine capacity
Low rate of fire; if you don't kill with the first shot, you will most likely be killed yourself.
High spread at longer ranges
The only magazine-fed shotgun, meaning it cannot be fired while reloading
Not helpful against numerous amounts of enemies; you may be able to tackle two, but any more is a death wish.
High recoil per shot

SMGS - These Are Light And Useful Weapons, Very Handy And Used.

P90 - Easily recognizable for its unique bullpup design, the P90 a great weapon to shoot on the move due to its high-capacity magazine and low recoil.
Advantages -
Large magazine size (50 rounds)
Very high rate of fire
Lightweight
Low recoil
Cheap
Disadvantages -
Inaccurate at long ranges
Low damage
Long reload time
Small amount of ammo in reserve
Low penetration power

UMP-45 - The misunderstood middle child of the SMG family, the UMP45's small magazine is the only drawback to an otherwise versatile close-quarters automatic.
Advantages -
Lightweight
Cheap
Fairly accurate at long ranges
High damage
High kill reward (in CS:GO)
Low recoil
Disadvantages -
Low penetration power
Low rate of fire
Long reload time
Small magazine size
Not effective for ambushing

MAC-10 - Essentially a box that bullets come out of, the MAC-10 SMG boasts a high rate of fire, with poor spread accuracy and high recoil as trade-offs.

Bad accuracy (mostly horizontal recoil)

PP-Bizon - The Bizon SMG is low-damage, but offers a uniquely designed high-capacity drum magazine that reloads quickly.

Disadvantages -

Very poor damage
Poor armor piercing

MP7 - Versatile but expensive, the German-made MP7 SMG is the perfect choice for high-impact close-range combat.

MP9 - Manufactured in Switzerland, the cutting-edge MP9 SMG is an ergonomic polymer weapon favored by private security firms.

Weapons - Machine Guns
Machine Guns - This is The Shortest Part Of The Weapons Section, These Are Useless At Long Range But Unpredictable At Close Range.

M249 - A strong open-area LMG, the M249 is the perfect choice for players willing to trade a slow fire rate for increased accuracy and a high ammo capacity.
Advantages -
Large magazine capacity/Large ammo in reserve
Useful for fighting groups of opponents
Great for firing through walls
High damage
Can instantly kill targets with headshots in Source and Global Offensive
First shots are very accurate
Disadvantages -
Expensive cost for the weapon and ammo
High recoil when continuously firing this weapon
Inaccurate at long ranges
Ammo cannot be shared with other 5.56mm rifles
Long reload time
Heavy weight, especially in Global Offensive

Negev - The high-mag, fast-firing Negev is the perfect weapon for spraying a lot of rounds quickly, with a hefty price tag, high spread and frustrating recoil as trade-offs.
Advantages -
Large magazine capacity
Deadly in close range
Very high rate of fire
Instant kill if a headshot is scored, regardless if a target has a helmet or not
Good for penetrating through walls
Great for eliminating clustered groups of enemies
Disadvantages -
Bad accuracy at mid-range and long-range

Uncontrollable recoil
Extremely heavy

In This Section I Will Be Talking About Game Modes.

Deathmatch - A Certain Amount Of People Play Against Each Other. Instant Respawn Winner Selected With Most Points By Killing.

Arms Race - Also A Certain Amount Of People Play Against Each Other To Get A New Weapon After Each Two Kills.Instant Respawn.

Demolition(My Fav) - 5v5 Play Against Each Other (Similar To Search And Destroy) Respawn After Each Round HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR NWE PLAYERS.

Competitive - 5v5 Play Ranked Matches 30 Rounds If Disconnect You Get A Cooldown Penalty Similar To Demolition.

Casual - Play Freely Like Competitive But A Significantly Increased Amount Of Players And You Don`t Get A Cooldown Penalty For Disconnecting.

There Are Also Community Servers Like Zombie Mode, BHOP, Jailbreak And Many More I Also Recommend Checking Them Out!
