Getting Started
Your goal is to frag as many other planes as possible, while getting fragged as little as possible. The pilot with the highest number of kills is the winner. More than any of the other Revo games, the best way to learn is to play - you already know as much as you need to know!
Brief Description
This is the most straightforward Revo online multiplayer game. Rules? We don't need no stinkin' rules! Shoot down (frag) anything that moves! Cowabunga!
Rules & Details
  • You are awarded one Kill for each plane you frag, even if the pilot has already bailed out.
  • You are penalized one Death each time you're fragged, unless you've successfully bailed out of your plane before being fragged.
  • If you crash without bailing-out successfully first, you are penalized both one Kill and one Death.
  • Ace points (AP) are scored as usual for kills, deaths, and crashes. Crashes or getting fragged after a successful bailout do not count against your AP. You get bonus AP for ending the match as the winner (how much depends on which game you're playing), but lose no AP if you do not, or aren't there for the end.
Strategy
  • If you're able to bail, you should almost certainly bail out. The only exception might be if you're hot on the six of another plane you're about to frag.
  • If you're a member of a squadron there will be squad "rules" about how you treat squadmates in FFA. In some squads friendly fire is not only discouraged but forbidden, and mates will gang up on any anyone else in the game not from their squad. Other squads discourage friendly fire, or have signals to communicate their desire to engage or not. Other squads . . . well, who the hell knows. But regardless, if a squad mate is in trouble, go after whoever is going after them! At least give them the chance to bail.
Sportsmanship
  • GIVE NOOBS A BREAK. Online multiplayer games are what make Revo games worth playing. But for this to work, there needs to plenty of experienced pilots. You should try to encourage noobs to stick with it and develop into the next Ace. Getting smacked down every 10 seconds without knowing where its coming from is a sure-fire way to have green pilots leave the game, maybe for good. In other words, pick on someone your own size.
  • KEEP YOUR CHAT LANGUAGE AND CALL SIGNS CLEAN. Some squads specifically target (sometimes relentlessly) those who use foul, bigoted, or inappropriate language in their word wheel, or who use call signs that are offensive.
  • HAVE FUN, and fly like your mother is watching!
