im very late to say this but, there are maps that have the overgrown theme, post-apoc style where it takes place years or even decades from the timeline, so more rusty retextures is a nice thought

Correct, but mods are supposed to change the game completely. So with this mod, with my other rusty mods, it's changing the game completely. That being said the outbreak did not just occur, imagination is great once you know how to use it.

My infected retextures are for a more gorey and realistic feel, I made those for people who liked realisticness along with the bloody vents I made. The vents showed how the infection spread, and that's what a lot of people liked. No one suggested these Rusty Mailboxes to be made, but I made them because I thought it was a great idea and a lot of people would like them, and I'm not disappointed.

nice idea, but the outbreak just occured, so they wouldnt have time to completely rust over. Would only make sense if the apocalypse happened a long time ago. I do appreciate mods that go for small details like this, but in the frame of the story, it just doesn't fit.
