The Feresa-class Escort Carrier is the first vessel in the Terran Star Navy's next generation warships and takes advantage of all the latest advancements in ship design. The Feresa-class was built to make fighter support more readily accessible to naval operations at all scales, and the carrier itself often acts as a command ship for small task forces. Admittedly the carrier carries a very limited armament and the outer hull is only a single layer of heavy armor thick. Alone, the Feresa lives up to the nickname attributed to so many CVEs: Combustible, Vulnerable, & Expendable. Feresa-class Escort Carriers are high-value assets capable of coordinating a task force and keeping them supplied during maneuvers, however require constant protection from additional escort vessels.
