Crafting is one of the main features of Chaos Heroes Online, allowing in-game items to acquire more power depending on their rarity. You can also find the guide directly on the website[chaosheroesonline.aeriagames.com].

There are several ways to acquire items:

• At the end of each game (even custom games / bot games)
  
• Random rewards (quests, boxes, etc etc…)
  
• Events

In short, each item you drop corresponds to an in-game item.

For instance, Ogre's Band grants +7 Strength for 600 gold. When you acquire a magic version of Ogre's Band, the item will gain a random bonus - such as +1 Agility. From there on, every time you buy Ogre's Band in-game it will cost 600 gold but provide you +7 Strength AND +1 Agility.

After acquiring an item, go to your inventory and use it. The item will now appear in the “Crafted Item” tab. If you multiple versions of the same item (for instance Ogre's Band with +1 Agility and another Ogre's Band with +1% Magic Resist), you can double click the one you wish to equip in the “Crafted Item” tab.

Items can be Magic, Rare or Epic:

• Magic: Green / 1 Bonus
  
• Rare: Blue / 2 Bonuses
  
• Epic: Purple / 3 Bonuses

It is possible to combine items of a same rarity into an item of higher rarity. In order to do so, you will need 5 items of the same rarity and 1500 GP (Magic => Rare) or 6000 GP (Rare => Epic).

Keep in mind that what you use to craft will influence the resulting item. For instance, if you use 3 Magic Assassin's Boots, 1 Magic Ogre's Band and 1 Magic Claret Sword, the output will be:

• 60% chance to get 1 Rare Assassin's Boots
  
• 20% chance to get 1 Rare Ogre's Band
  
• 20% chance to get 1 Rare Claret Sword

The new bonuses are completely random, so having 5 items with +Strength does not guarantee that the upgraded item will have +Strength as a bonus.

If the item does not have the bonus you want, you can reroll it (Inventory => Crafted Item => Reset).

You can reroll an item up to 5 times, with the cost increasing each time:

• 1st Reset: 1 Soulstone
  
• 2nd Reset: 2 Soulstones
  
• 3rd Reset: 4 Soulstones
  
• 4th Reset: 8 Soulstones
  
• 5th Reset: 16 Soulstones

The cost is the same for all levels of rarity.

We heavily advise against de-crafting items, as the reward ratio is very low. You should only use this option if you have too many items:

• Magic Item - 1 Crystal of Chaos
  
• Rare Item - 2 to 4 Crystals of Chaos
  
• Epic Item - 8 to 16 Crystals of Chaos

Combining 25 Crystals of Chaos will grant you a Mystic Essence containing a random item of a random rarity.
