A simple texture that turned out pretty well. It bears a few similarities with existing real world snow camouflages, which I used as an example. The texture is completely handmade, no other images or copyrighted material was involved in the process.
The textures is randomly placed on the weapon within a few given parameters. It creates some interesting designs, comparable to the way the Slaughter/Case Hardened/Fade skins work. The texture is tilted at a 30, with a maximum tilt of 60. Besides the variations, the texture can only slightly slide up and down on the X and Y axis ensuring there is always a nice combination of the 3 colors visible.
The added designs are a few extra styles I came up with while fiddling the color schemes. when considering this skin, please take into consideration that those color schemes are also an option, and only take 2-3 minutes to switch to.
