Episode 2 Passed! Received when you finish Episode 2.

Episode 3 Passed! Received when you finish Episode 3. If you're having trouble using the picture to solve the murder, see Appendix III below.

Episode 4 Passed! Received when you finish Episode 4.
Love Your Family
During Episode 2, open your inventory. Click on the blue oval: This is your phone. Call your sister, Jinny. She'll talk about some things you'd rather not remember.
Heart of Stone
At the beginning of Episode 2, you will be up on the rooftop with Kael. To the left is a gargoyle. At some point when you have a Yellow Bull potion in your inventory, examine the gargoyle and then examine the crack along the gargoyle's ribs. Click on the option to use the drink: You will break off a piece of stone. There is a red object inside. Click on the object to discover that it is a ruby and remove it.

You can sell the ruby to VF for 120 gold.
Gone Wild
At the beginning of Episode 2, as you descend from the tower, check your inventory and make sure you have at least one bottle of each of the three potions. (This is a good achievement to go after while completing Bottoms Up!) Exit the tower.

Talk to Ruth. When Mitchel comes over to insult you both, select the option to drink the Blue Note potion. You will tell him off, causing him to leave.

Go back to chatting with Ruth. When given the option, drink the Kiss X potion. Kiss the girl and agree to meet her after class.

After class, talk to Ruth and agree to go home with her. You'll stop to sit on the stairs on your way to the place she knows. Chat about yourself and your preferences. Tell her that you've been with a few other women and that you fantasize about guys, but don't follow up on it.

Before you exit the screen, Tara (Ruth's bodyguard who has been following you) will try to break things up. Drink the Yellow Bull potion and beat the snot out of her.

Ruth is very turned on. Run off with her. Kinky sex, represented by a cartoon of two rhinos, ensues.

And Then I Choked Him...
During the Episode 3 morning drive into town with Kistian, ask him about his insomnia. Then ask him about his dog. He'll tell you a story.
Phill Said ...
During Episode 3, when you're in the White Circle subway station, strike up a friendly conversation with the masked guard figure to the right. Ask him about his duty and his day.
Evil Wears His Face
This achievement has several steps in two different episodes. Also, it requires a Yellow Bull potion. There's plenty of ways to acquire this potion, just make sure you have one in your inventory when you look for the books in Episode 3.

In Episode 2, go down into the Academy subway. To the left is a hooded figure. Speak to him and he will give you a monsterous plaque. To the right is a hooded figure. Speak to her and she will ask you to help her. Agree to do so. She will give you a different plaque.

In Episode 3, look at the back wall of the tavern (located in VF's old shop). There's a hole. Travel to White Circle. Go to VF's current shop. Ask him about the hole in the wall of his old shop. He'll tell you about an altar, which he'll sell to you for 100 gold. Buy it.

This is also a good time to pick up the battered old shield. You will need it to complete this achievement.

Go to the street outside the White Circle Subway Station. Look at the sewer grate next to the entrance to the station. (You could not click on it during Episode 2, but now there is an active hot spot.)

Open your inventory and click on the altar. Inspect it. Click on one side of the altar to put in one of the plaques from Episode 2. Click on the other side of the altar to put in the other plaque. You are now in the spirit world!

Look around. When you try to go up the stairs, you are attacked by a ghost! Use the battered shield until the ghost stops trying to hit you. Afterwards, you can talk to the ghost. He doesn't speak, but he'll indicate that the book is in the sewer.

Click on the sewer grate again, and in you go. The book is to the far right in a cubby hole. Take it. (You can also pick up some more cash by clicking on the door hot spot to the left.) Exit the sewers. Take the altar apart. Oh, no! You're still stuck in the demon world!

Inspect the book now that you're out of the sewers and can "read" it. It has an indentation. Put a plaque into it and the book will return you to the usual world of Leviathan.

Look at the sewer grate next to the subway station again. You can see a book! But you're too wimpy to get it. Use the Yellow Bull potion to get into the sewers. The book is right in front of you. Pick it up and exit the sewers.

Inspect your new book in the daylight. It has an indentation. Put the other plaque into it. You will be asked to make a choice between the good brother and the evil brother. Pick whichever fits your morality goal. Achievement acquired!

Note: If you haven't done it, starting the game with any episode other than the first will lead to an opening chat between the two books that allows you to set the game choices from the previous episode.
Out Of Mind
Anytime beginning with Episode 2, go to VF's shop in White Circle and buy the horn. You seem to be offered the cheapest price if you select "Maybe."

Return to the Academy. Examine the statue of the bugler (far left in front of the Academy door). Listen to the melody. Open your inventory and look at your horn. Play the tune by clicking on the three keys in the proper order.

For the less patient, less musically inclined, or deaf, the order is bottom key, top key, top key, middle key, bottom key

The bugler will play the tune back. Close your inventory and examine the statue again. You now have the box. . .

In Episode 4, call Master Kortenix (yes, he will actually answer for once!). You can ask him for advice about the box. He will comment that you need red light to open it. Or you can break it with a hammer.

Taking this advice to heart, hold onto the box. Later, when you're in the sewers, you'll find a malfunctioning door that keeps opening and closing next to a red light. Choose to crush the "cassette" in the door. Voila, you have the achievement.
Kroistham Subway
Ride the subway 10 times. It is really that simple.

If you need help locating the subway, the stations are the round portals covered by sliding garage doors. Click on the handle next to the door to examine it, and then click on it again to open the doorway. Welcome to the subway.
Bottoms Up!
This is a fairly easy achievement to manage so long as you have money. There is a potion vending machine in the school tower and at the club your friends meet at in Episode 3. And there are many opportunities to use potions. This achievement pairs well with Gone Wild & Heart of Stone.

The opportunities to use the potions are under spoilers.

Note: This portion of the guide is incomplete both because the game is incomplete and because I have not yet completed all of the chapters while carrying one of each potion with me.

As the Gold Blinks
This achievement tracks how much gold you earn through all playthroughs. It may be possible to unlock it in just one play, but if you don't, you'll certainly reach it eventually.

Ways to Earn Gold
General:
Call Master Kortenix (see Appendix I for details).

Episode 1:
*When you face the bullies, choose "..." and then select check your pockets. You will find 11 gold, a Blue Note potion, and a knife. Choose to threaten the bullies with the knife. They'll still beat you up, but you'll then have a free Blue Note potion and the 11 gold when you start Episode 2.

*Take the 3 gold off the desk in your bedroom.

Episode 2:
*Have at least 30 gold on you when you go to visit VF and DO NOT work for him. This will affect your allowance in Episode 3. Alternately, you can use a Blue Note potion.

* Complete the Heart of Stone achievement and sell the ruby to VF for 120 gold.

* Talk to the girl outside the school who is holding a pile of books. Rescue her missing page from the roof. She will give you a Yellow Bull potion for free. If you don't help her, she'll refuse to speak to you later. In Episode 3, she says she knows a way to invest 50 gold and get 200 back. In Episode 4, she keeps her word and gives you the 200 gold.

Episode 3:
*When working on the Evil Wears His Face achievement and in the spirit world, click on the doorway in the sewer that you did not come through. You will find 23 gold.

* Be sure to have a Yellow Bull potion before going to the spirit world, then go in the right part of the sewers and click on the eyes in the dark. Use the potion to defeat the monster and it will drop a claw. Pick it up and sell it to VF for 211 gold. (Thanks to THE TENTH)

Episode 4:
* Check the cushions of the chair in your room for more coins.

* Buy the brooch from VF and give it to Hissah as she requests. The brooch will cost 88 coins and Hissah will give you 150.
Aberrated
Here is a list of all the ways I've found to be evil in the game. This achievement is slightly easier than Almost A Saint because the Tree will keep you updated on your aberrant level.

Episode 1
*Take Ruth's hat.
*Tell Edna to kill Groth.

Episode 2
*Kill Mitchel (attack/fight/use Yellow Bull).
*Molest Ruth.
*Attack the Tree.
*When you go to the street with VF's shop, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on the dialogue box with the protoprimal fisherman. Kick him off his boat. He drowns.
*Choose to threaten the Archivist's wife when you speak with Edna.

Episode 3
*Insult the Tree whenever you have the option.
*Pick the evil brother when working on Evil Wears His Face.

Episode 4
*Intimidate Lionel when you need to use his phone.

Episode 5
Waiting for Episode 5 to be released in English.

Almost A Saint
Here are all the ways I've found to be a good guy in Leviathan. They may not all affect your score with the Tree.

Episode 1
*Be polite about Ruth's hat.
*Don't even think of killing Groth. Tell Edna you want some sweets.

Episode 2
*When you see the Tree, be agreeable.
*Don't kill Mitchel, just defend yourself until Edna kills him.
*When you go to the street outside VF's place, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the scene and click on the dialogue box there. You chat with a protoprimal fisherman. Give him 5 coins.
*When you go to the Archives, insist to Edna that there must be another way. Then ask the Archivist about himself and what he wants. Get him a toy for his daughter at VF's shop.

Episode 3
*Pick the good brother during Evil Wears His Face.

Episode 4
*Keep your soul squeaky clean and ask the tree about your abarration level. You should get the achievement.
Appendix I: Calling Master Kortenix
In each of the first three episodes, you will have the opportunity to call Master Kortenix. You won't get through to him, but his magic guard will offer you the opportunity to answer a riddle. Each correct answer will provide you with an increasing multiple of 7 gold in return. The answers to the riddles in each episode are under spoilers.

Episode 1
Fish hook

Episode 2
The future

Episode 3
The Decade
Appendix II: Pop Quiz
These are the answers to the history test given at the beginning of Episode 3. All of the answers are in the story if you pay attention to the lore available. Though I don't think you can figure out the answer to 3 before taking the test at least once.

Question 1: Blue Fog

Question 2: The Temple of Every God

Question 3: Goldberg

Question 4: A cup of blood
Appendix III: The Bertram Landmasser Photo
To make it more challenging in terms of solving the crime, there is no way to make hot spots on the photo visible when Jay reviews it with you. While I personally enjoyed the challenge of putting all the clues together based solely on my own deductive reasoning, sometimes the hot spots didn't respond to my clicks and I had to be stubborn and keep moving my cursor around the object while clicking.

So as reassurance to other players, here is a list of all of the clickable clues (individually spoilered) from right to left, as well as a walkthrough just for this picture.

1 Wine glass to the far right.

2 Gift basket on the table in front of the fire.

3 Red puddle on the floor in front of the fireplace.

4 Bottles to the left of the fireplace.

5 Scarf on the floor to the far left.

6 Wine glass to the far left.

7 Toppled ottoman to the left of the corpse.

8 The corpse: The corpse can be particularly tricky. So far as I can tell the most consistant hot spot is by the left side of the head/neck.

Walkthrough

1 When Jay starts the review session, click on all of the items mentioned above and listen to the responses of your friends.

2 Click on one of the glasses of wine.

3 Select the dialogue option: had a guest.

4 Click on the gift basket.

5 Select the dialogue option: he was poisoned.

6 Click on the puddle.

7 Click on the dusty bottles.

8 Click on the scarf and then on the corpse, near the neck.

9 Click on the ottoman.

This should conclude your photo review session with Jay and the gang.

In regards to the aberrated achievement, you can get it by playing through the whole game. Or at least I did. I may not have written down all the evil things I did, though.

In any case, if there's a short cut, I won't discourage you. Perhaps I should put in a warning to just not be nice. Because yeah, that probably tripped you up.

Conserning the "aberrated" achievment: I did all the "evil" stuff but endet with "almost a Saint". That was quite funny in the first place. 😁
So I guess, I shouldn't have done "good" side quests as well. I try to be more "evil" in my next playthrough.
The walk through mentioned in the guide was not sufficient. Besides I liked the guide to get some clue on the other achievements. Thanks for that.

edit: I read some of the former comments and the solution lies into just starting episode 5 and make evil choices.

Regarding: * Talk to the girl outside the school who is holding a pile of books. Rescue her missing page from the roof. She will give you a Yellow Bull potion for free. --> tell her 200 gold isn´t enough --> she offers you 250 instead!

In Episode 3, you can give gold to the protoprimal fisherman a second time, and The Tree expresses approval.

Also a reminder about the Bertram Landmasser Photo: Your cursor will light up over clickable objects, so if they can't be clicked on, try again later.
